"There's deep-fried a bunch of things," I said. "Deep-fried butter, pizza, beer, kool-aid, tea, an ice cream burger, which I'd like to try, salsa, bubblegum, jelly beans, alligator, pigs ears, I could go on,"

"Well, I'm not into any of that," I said, taking a ginormous bite of my hot dog.

"How do you deep fry a liquid?" I said. "And deep-fried butter is just asking for pricey diabetes."

"I'm not sure," I said. "But it's been done. I think it's more like . . . beverage ravioli, or something."

"Ravioli," I muttered. "Well, I won't say no to some NORMAL icecream."

"Not deep-fried?" I asked.

"Not deep-fried," I affirmed. I saw a truck that suited my needs and returned to my friends with a soft serve blueberry vanilla icecream.

"Ugh, now I want ice cream!" I said and debated in my head whether or not I should get ice cream. I gave in to my sweet tooth and went to get a cookie dough flavored ice cream cone.

I practically inhaled my icecream. It was so good. I threw away the spoon and cup to hold it and continued towards the Washington Monument.

I followed Anna, and got the same flavor. "It's my favorite," I explained. "I've never had Rocky Road, though. I should try that sometime, but right now I'm satisfied."

"Man, I wish I'd seen that. You know how much I love chocolate chip cookie dough," I said, seeing a deep-fried cookie dough truck. "Hrm."

"Sign from God?" I said, laughing.

I couldn't help it. I laughed. "Fine. I'll try some of this diabetic cookie dough."
I got a small cupful of the stuff and offered everyone spoons. I tasted it myself. It was very rich, but in small servings, very delicious. -
I tried some. It was good. "Alright, now let's get walking," I said.
(I've never had it so I don't know how else to describe it) -
(Me neither)
I ate little scoops of cookie dough and kept on walking toward the Washington Monument. It looked like a large pencil, in a good way.
