"Squeaky shoes?" I asked.

"Yeah, you know the shoes that sound like you're murdering several mice each time you take a step? Those shoes," I said.

"I have to say," I said, " that the only shoes I've worn that sound like that are dress shoes, and I rarely ever wear those. I wear my boots instead."

I clapped my hands together. "Boots are so good. If only my black and silver ones weren't, ya know, dinky."

"Silver boots?" I asked. "I have brown ones. I packed them. Which is weird for me. I hardly ever pack more than one pair of shoes."

"I have a black pair of combat boots and a brown pair of winter boots." I say quietly.

I got lost when I had to use the restroom a few hours before, but I finally found where everyone else was at. "Jeez, that took forever. I finally found you guys!"
(That was my attempt of rejoining this rp since I haven't really been active for the past week and a half) -
"Where were you?" I asked.

"When I had to use the bathroom, I left to find one, and when I came back, all of you guys were gone." I said. I was just happy I found all of my friends, because I was worried that I was lost and I wasn't going to see them again. "So I've spent the last few hours trying to find you all."

"Oh," I said. "Well, we're heading in the direction of the Washington Monument now"

"Oh, okay!" I replied with a huge grin. "Let me grab something to eat first though, I haven't eaten yet today,"
(Wait isn't that where we were at at the beginning or am I stupid?) -
(We were at the Lincoln Memorial)
"Alright," I said. "There's a few food trucks over there."
(We saw so many food trucks when I went there. Some names of them did't make sense. I haven't had any food truck food, though.) -
(Oh okay I can't keep track of these things lol)

I saw a large food truck selling deep-fried Oreos. "What? Why? Why would they do that?"

"I don't know, that honestly looks so disgusting." I said, considering the fact that I don't even like oreos in the first place. "Well, I'm gonna try to get something," I started walking towards some of the food trucks and was browsing through all of the selections of food when I found one that served hot dogs. I went for that one because I wanted something simple, and got the hot dog and walked back over to everyone else.
