“It wasn’t a fair fight!” She protested, “He probably jumped him or something, there’s absolutely no way anyone could defeat my father.” She stated sharply, looking back down.
Sauda glanced sympathetically at his sister, he knew it had been a fair fight, his sister was only defending her father. “I want you two to go back to Sun Pride, I’ll come back for you- I promise. Maybe Moon Pride will accept me.” -
"I'm not going back there," Kinigua confirmed. "I'm going with you."

Sauda shook his head, a grim look on his face. “I want you two to go back.” He stated, his voice straining to be commanding. He watched as his sister’s eyes filled with sadness, “What if we never see you again?”

"Sauda, you furball. It's not lot like I'd belong there anymore anyway. I attacked the new leader of Sun Pride. My life would be hell there," Kinigua retorted.

Oseye shook her head vigorously, “Exactly! What life do we have there?” She looked outside the cave, “Us three can start a pride of your own!”
Sauda considered this for a moment, “But I want you two to be safe, in Sun Pride...” -
"Sauda, stop fighting us. You made your choice. And now we've made ours," Kinigua said, brushing up against him. "We can handle ourselves, you know."

Sauda wanted the two lionesses to be safe in Sun Pride but knew he couldn’t change their minds after they had spoken and made their decisions. He sighed, “Fine.”
Oseye grinned, her pumpkin colored pelt lying flat. “Well, where to?” -
Kinigua gave a relieved sigh. "How about we go get that zebra we killed earlier? I'm hungry."

Oseye bristled, “That’s in Sun Pride territory.” She was no longer proud of the pride she used to be in, now it was ruled by a filthy tyrant- or so she thought.
Sauda nodded, “It would be dangerous for us to go back into pride territory. We’ll travel when the sun sets and maybe catch some food then.” -
Kinigua sighed. "Oh well. Let's go then."
She pulled herself to her feet, three feet that is. She kept her injured leg tucked up against her chest.
