Oba looked down at Sun Pride. He padded to his mate, “Take Sauda, Kinigua, and Oseye hunting, try and teach them to catch a zebra.” He smiled imagining the young lions catching their zebra, without help.

Oseye looked at her mother talking to her father, she sighed, All the time, they both think that we can’t catch our own prey. She was desperate to prove them both wrong. She padded to Sauda and Kinigua, “We’re going hunting with mother, Oba wants us to catch our own prey.” -
(Wait, are they all siblings?)
Kinigua's ears perked up and she nudged Sauda excitedly, her eyes shining.
"Well of course we can catch our own prey. We're not cubs!" she said, indignantly. "Let's go prove them wrong!" -
If u want them to be)
Oseye bounded off, “C’mon! I can smell zebra!” She went further and spotted a herd of zebras, including an injured one. That’s our lunch. She waited for the others to catch up. -
(Nah)
Kinigua spotted the zebras excitedly, her eyes fastening on the injured one.
"What if one of us scares them to the other two? That'd be an easy catch for sure!" she said, eagerly. -
“I can do it,” she said excitedly, “You and Sauda wait behind that bush, try and surprise it while I approach from downwind.” She trotted alongside the zebra herd, but from a distance. She sat on her haunches and her gaze flickered excitedly between her pride-mates and the zebra.
She trotted closer and then broke out into a run, there was dust everywhere, but she had her target. She chased the injured zebra close to Sauda and Kinigua, “C’mon..... NOW!” -
(I have a plot idea if you want to use it. A new and younger male lion takes over and, well, he doesn't want the old leader's offspring around. The three are forced to go on their own. What do ya think?)
Kinigua leapt out, roaring, and sunk her teeth ferociously into the zebra's neck as Sauda pinned it down. Within seconds, it was dead.
"We did it!" she crowed, looking down at her prey. "Oseye, come look!" -
(Yeah, I was thinking the same thing!)
She bounded over to Sauda and Kinigua, “Great job! And Oba says we can’t catch a zebra.” She grabbed the zebra’s neck and started to drag it towards the Pride. -

Kinigua was walking beside her friends happily, when the fur on the back of her neck bristled. Something wasn't right. She gasped at the sight of a young male lion lounging on their territory.
"Why hello, dears," he said, smiling cruelly. "Welcome back." -
Sauda looked over at Kinigua, “What’s wrong?” He peeked over his shoulder to see a male lion in their territory. He let out a roar of anger, “What are you doing on Sun Pride territory?” He demanded, baring his teeth. He stalked towards the lion, snarling.

Oseye stayed behind her brother and pressed closer to Kinigua. Oseye was angered, “Don’t call us that! We’re Sun Pride lions, loner.” She spat the word loner. Her pumpkin colored fur bristled. She was a small lioness, but a fierce one. -
