Ken asked "Why would Godzilla be returning?" Dr. Sakurai said "We're not sure. We're not even sure it is Gojira. The description from onlookers match but pictures recovered are too blurry for analysis."

The youngest scientist in the room rolled her eyes. “ I mean...the kaiju are kind of natural beings right? Maybe it’s the pollution.” She goads, having brought up this opinion multiple times.

Some of the scientists looked at her with exasperated looks and Ken said "I wonder if it has anything to do with the stone we found."

Demeter shrugs. “ it could be.” She agrees, deciding not to press her green agenda. She’d been shot down , time and time again.

Dr. Sakurai said "Dr. Hunter, Dr. Kaine, I need you both to keep working on the stone. See if it might be what Gojira is rising for or if it can tell if something else is coming."

Demeter rolls her eyes. “ that’s- that’s what we were- never mind, alright got it.” She says trying not to get annoyed, none of this is important, other than briefly being told about information that could have been passed on easily.

Ken asked "We're doing the best we can. I'm sure we'll have the answers soon." Dr. Sakurai "Good. On a related note, there have been..." He paused for a moment and said "It might be better to show you." He turned on a large screen and showed a video. It showed a clear sky when suddenly a large, tentacled mass zoomed passed, stopping briefly and then continuing.

“ now this is...worth notifying us.” Demeter commented as she took in every little detail she could about the going ons.
( what do the tentacles mean again? Sorry.) -
(It's a monster Gamera faced that we'll be finding out more about later)
Ken asked the obvious question "What is that?" Dr. Sakurai said "No one knows. It was spotted over the skies of Kyoto in Japan. It might be a new monster." -
Demeter hummed. “ It’s clearly a kaiju.” She commented. “ it could be linked with Gojira, so maybe instead of talking, we should get back to de-coding?”

Dr. Sakurai said "I like your attitude Dr. Kaine. Which is why I shall be delaying you no further. But I'd keep an eye on any news reports, just to see if anything else appears. Thank you all for coming. Meeting adjourned." Everyone soon stood up and left.

Kaine left as soon as he uttered those words.she had a feeling. She’d been thinking it over. She had reached a breakthrough last night in research. Those stones looked like Magatama, hinting at some kind of spiritual thing.
( I’m assuming there were other Magatama? They’re a distinctive shape, so I think it’s a resaonble conclusion that she’d recognise them.) -
(There were in fact other magatama found, Persephone's is unique though as it will allow her to become Gamera's priest.)
Dr. Hunter wondered more about the stone itself. What if Godzilla was after that tentacled monster like he was with the M.U.T.O or maybe after the stone they were trying to decode. It was all rather confusing. Maybe it would make more sense as they solved the puzzle. -
( I assumed it was a unique one. )
“ these, are magatama. They’re spiritual stones basically, they are used by those training to communicate with spirits.” She explains. “ I think ...I think whoever built this stone was trying to communicate with a kaiju, possibly Mothra? It’s possible it’s an unknown kajiu, but I don’t think it was Gojira.” -
Dr. Hunter looked at the magatama and said "You might have a point. Magatama have been used in religious ceremonies. But I don't believe it's Mothra. Looking at the stone's shape, it almost looks like a turtle's shell. This could be an entirely different kaiju all together."
