Thread Topic: Godzilla vs Gamera: The Fate Of The Universe

A long time ago, an ancient civilization was under siege by the appearance of a large creature they called Gojira. In response, they created a mighty guardian named Gamera to combat him but were unable to awaken him before Gojira devastated the civilization. Luckily, one person was able to hide the activation from the destruction in the hope, future generations would be able to decode it. In reality though, Gojira sensed radioactivity given off by the people's used of Mana or magic life force and perceived them as a threat. In the year 20XX, scientists found the activation for Gamera and have almost finished decoding it. While the modern world is fully aware of Gojira, now named Godzilla, they are unaware of his past devastation. And lately Godzilla has been needlessly rampaging in remote parts of the world. No one has died thankfully but it seems rather weird. So what's going on with Godzilla and what will happen when Gamera is awakened?
So the point here is we play as a group of humans that are witnessing the events unfold and trying to help both Kaiju.
You don't need to know anything about Godzilla or Gamera to be in this soap. If you need help with either though, use these links of the most well known versions of them to start
Now we will both control one of the Kaiju and while I would like to control Godzilla, if you don't fell like you'd be up to snuff playing Gamera, I'll happily take him, no questions asked

I’d be interested, but the only kaiju I know are Mothra and Godzilla and even then I only know a little.

(It starts at a lab in an institute of research for monsters like Godzilla. Our scientists are close to figuring out the activation stone for Gamera. Godzilla has been seen since he, Mothra and Rodan defeated King Ghidorah, so he isn't rampaging yet.)
At Monarch Labs Research Center, scientist Dr. Ken Hunter and his colleague, Dr. Kaine were hard at work decoding a mysterious stone unearthed 8 months ago. Dr. Hunter was hard at work trying to work out the runes on the stone. He was able to get some of them by cross-referencing similar runes found on Skull Island, but was having trouble with others. -
Kaine was pouring over reference photos, as she also attempted to decode the runes, though she wasn’t quite sure what went where, or what certain scribbles meant, considering they weren’t all super clear.
The last appearance of Godzilla had been back when he, rodan and Mothra has defeated King Ghidorah. So she didn’t fully understand why Gamera was needed, but she needed the money, -
(They aren't aware of Gamera's existence. They don't even know the stone activates him. They're studying the stone because they're trying to see if the stone is linked to Godzilla or the other monsters.)

In that case , she’s confused as to why they’re studying something so obviously linked to the kaiju when she doesn’t think it’s needed. ) -
Dr. Hunter sighed and rubbed his forehead. These runes were so hard to crack. And he wasn't even sure what this would even do. He said "Dr. Kaine, you have any luck yet trying to find any answers to these markings?"

Kaine slid some of her translations down the table. “ I think I might, it’s not much though, just what I’ve been able to piece together from the photographs.” She mumbles as she reaches for her coffee. She finds it empty and sighs.
“ I’m making a coffee run, want anything Dr.hunter?” -
Dr. Hunter took the translations she made and answered "No thanks, I have a Monster energy. I'll be okay." He looked over the notes and wondered what it all meant. He was then beginning to notice that parts of the stone resembled patterns like a turtle shell.
