Alice didn't know what to make of it all. Even being a genetics lab, how would an explosion cause them to have superpowers? But she did answer Danny's question by saying "I didn't want to say anything but I seem to be able to hear the animals. It actually sounds like they are talking."

Yume helped his brother stand up, trying not to laugh at him before he looked at the rest of the group. "I havent done anything out of the ordinary yet, but it might be because nothing has triggered it yet?" he said

"Animals? Gosh, no wonder you seemed kind of zoned off," Adonis replied to Alice. "I bet you have powers too, Yume. Something tells me that this isn't all that everyone can do, though. We should test it, find out what we're dealing with," Adonis said. She was still freaked out, but words like 'test' and 'find out' brought her back to a comfort zone of sorts. Science, she could easily handle. Powers.. Adonis wasn't so sure. -

"Agreed. Going on the theory that all of us have some sort of powers, they've got to be channeled somehow, or controlled. The problem is, we gotta learn how to 'activate' them. " Danny said. "But we came here for a reason, we'll figure that part out later. So, Adonis, this your dad's lab, and all in all, more your level of expertise. Wanna start the search, we'll follow behind?" -
(I don't mean to pry but can I get one too? But I'd like to change Alice's hero costume to a leopard leotard. The more I thought about her original out fit, the more I realize how tacky it is.)
Alice said "That sounds like a good idea. Then we'll get to the bottom of our powers." -

"Well, if I remember the layout correctly," Adonis walked into the rubble for a few steps, then turned left, then right. "This is the room where the experiments were being held, with mice and other small animals," Adonis said, nodding. She bent down and started to search through the peices. Her hands quickly got dirty, but she didn't mind. Somewhere around here there would be a chemical spill, or research papers, if they hadn't been burnt up. They usually kept the research papers in a fire and water proof filing cabinet, so Adonis hoped that it survived the explosion. -
Danny got to work helping Adonis, and after struggling to find any kind of information, he separated from the group to use the bathroom. "You guys keep looking, I gotta find somewhere to whiz." Danny dove deeper to where more of the lab was still standing in hopes that he could find a place to peacefully go to the bathroom, and under a big pile rubble, something slightly reflective, caught Danny's eye, and his attention. He moved a bit of the rubble, and saw what looked like a giant centrifuge, but its function was unknown to Danny. Inside it was a long vile, with a viscous light red liquid in it. Danny grabbed it and made his way back to his friends. "Have you guys found anything yet? Because I found something."

(That is so cool. I especially like the question Alice asks the chicken. That sounds like something she would say. I would like to ask though, the middle clothes picture, is that just an alternate outfit you made?)
Alice looked around in the rubble to find anything of importance. She saw a rat walking across and said "Hey, you there." The rat looked at her and Alice said "I need you to find some friends and help us look for some stuff in the rubble." The rat said "Okay. What's in it for me?" Alice said "Food." The rat said "Sold." and it ran to get some help. Alice said "Nothing yet." -

Yume started helping search through the rubble with the help of his brother, both of them being surprised when Akumu was able lift rubble larger then he was. Akumu just shrugged and tossed it aside, not noticing a few tendrils emerging from his back to help him -
(Yeah, I'm going for atleast three outfits they would wear, one being the regular one described, one being the hero one described, and another just designed based on their previous outfits and personality)
Adonis replied to Danny, "Yeah, I think I found somethi- Ohh gosh," Adonis said in surprise, taking a step back when she noticed Akumu's tentacles. This was gonna be hard to get used to, no doubt. "I-I found some blueprints," Adonis said, holding some sheets of paper that came out of a broken-open filing cabinet. "It seems to be some kind of machine designed to produce a vial of .. something" Adonis said, it was difficult to read the papers that were grimy and torn at places. -

"Well, I found this " Danny said, holding the vile. The vile was fairly long, about the length of a fluorescent light bulb. He didn't notice until he showed his friends, but on it was some sort of code or label, which read "466R35510N".
"I found it in some giant centrifuge looking thing. I can't be too sure though on what the machine actually was, I couldn't get all the rubble off of the top of it. I opened one of the side panels, and found it. I think after looking for more info, we should go back and may--"
Danny was cut off by a bullhorn.
"THIS IS THE POLICE. YOU ARE TRESSPASSING ON CONDEMNED PROPERTY. PLEASE COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP, AND LEAVE QUIETLY, OR BE ARRESTED. YOU HAVE EXACTLY 30 SECONDS."
"Crap," Danny said. "They'll probably search us. I have no way of hiding this vile, but I gotta bring it with us. We need a place to hide all of what we found. Do you guys have any ideas?" -
Alice and the rats finally found a paper file labeled Genetic Experiment #82. She gave the rats some bread and they all left. She was about to announce what she found but the police bullhorn sounded. She said "If only some birds were here. I could get them to carry the things to a safe spot." She then thought and said "Maybe Adonis' portals could hide them."
