Alice didn't hear Danny properly when he cam in, as her headache was almost unbearable and the noises he made knocking over equipment didn't help. She was on the verge of tears until a nurse gave her some medicine to stop the headache. She began to feel better when a person in black came in and said "Alice Fairfax, I need you to come with me." Alice looked at him and said "Okay, but can I sit here for a few moments first to get over the pain?" The man nodded and waited near the doorway.

Yume ran over to his brother and started trying to calm him down, hesitantly hugging him. Akumu slowly calmed down and had started to reform when some men in black showed up. Akumu snarled and then shoved himself off the bed, several tendrils emerging out of his melted side to half curl around his twin protectivly

"Weird and eventful is one way to put it. This might sound crazy.. but I swear, I was on level 9 or 8 a few seconds ago," Adonis replied to Danny, happy to see a familar face and not hesitant to say what had happened because the only judgement that really affected her was her own. "I'll tell you more about it later- I was trying to find my dad, but gosh, if you're here too, we had better go and find Alice and the twins first," Adonis said.

"Great thinking. You get Alice. She's on floor 13, room 2B. I'll get the twins. We meet back in this stairwell, ok? Good luck. See you soon." Danny then bolted back down to floor 7 where the twins were. When he got to the room, he saw ANOTHER man in black. "What are there 2 of you jerks on every level, Danny said pushing past the man and getting the twins. He wrapped an arm around each of them.
"We gotta get out, quick." Danny took off to run, but heard the man in black say "Wait. We aren't who you might think we are. We're here to help. we got-" the man stopped. He touched his earpiece and responded with "Yes sir.", before leaving, along with a group of men in black.
"I wonder who they are." Danny whispered. "Danny quickly hugged his twin comrades, asking "You guys ok?" -
Alice soon stood up as her head felt better. The men pulled out a set of handcuffs and she asked "What are those for? I didn't do anything wrong. Did I?" He said "Just a precaution. All will be explained later." Alice looked at her parents who shrugged, not knowing what was going on. She held out her hands for the cuffs. It was then he touched his ear piece and said "In light of recent orders, I must cancel this. Forget you ever saw me." and he left. Alice got back on her bed and said "That was weird."

"Do i look like im ok!" Akumu practically shrieked, stactic partially obscuring his voice when his chest and throat briefly became goop "i dont think MELTING is normal!" Yume just stayed quiet, hugging his brother as they both panicked

Adonis nodded and quickly ran up the two stairs and practically busted into Alice's hospital room. She saw a man in black exiting, but decided not to cripple his ability to have children like she did the last guy. "Oh my gosh, Alice are you okay?" Adonis asked, kneeling at her bedside in relief to see her friend. She waved awkwardly at Alice's parents. "Weird things have been happening, we have to get out of here and regroup," Adonis said.

Danny scooped up Akumu and briefly puckered his face. He felt odd...but he had to help his friend nonetheless. He grabbed Yume's neck, holding it still, in hope to prevent whiplash. He ran to the stairwell and set the two on a step. He stood in front of them waiting for Adonis. He looked at the twins for a second, then down at himself. They all were still in their hospital gowns.
"Wait here. I'll be right back. If Adonis comes back before me with Alice, tell them to wait, ok?" Danny said before taking off to find a gift shop of sorts. Maybe the had some kind of sweatpants and sweatshirts there. He was able to find two pairs of sweatshirts and sweatpants that had the hospital's name on them for the girls in grey, and the same thing for the guys, but in a dark blue. He grabbed everyone a pair of socks, and himself a pair of sweatpants like the other guys had. The only problem was, they didn't have his size in men. And there were no other size in woman's that fit him that were plain. The only thing he could find for himself to wear was a sweatshirt that read "PROUD MOTHER" with a pink rattle next to it. Danny groaned and picked the sweater up, put it in his pile, looked around and quickly left the shop without being seen. He returned to the stairwell, and gave the twins their sweats, and quickly changed into his, once again groaning over his sweater saying "PROUD MOTHER" -
Alice said "Other than an absolutely, bloody, horrendous headache when I woke up, I'm okay. I still wonder what that lad in the black clothes wanted. I guess I'll just have to do what he said and forget about him and never know." Alice then got out of bed and said "I'm glad to see you're okay."

Akumu squeaked when he was picked up, several tendrils wrapping around Danny and his twin while they where moving before they receded when danny moved to set him down. Yume blinked several times in confusion as danny ran off and just kinda stared at the place he had been untill he got back. Akumu snickered at dannys sweater as he managed to pull the melted parts of him into a mostly humanoid shape, though the melting appeared to be spreading

"I'm glad that you're okay too," Adonis said to Alice. Adonis wrapped Alice up into a hug, but she knew thar they didn't have much time. Danny was probably waiting at the stairs at they spoke. Adonis took hold of Alice's hand to lead her to the stairs. "Danny?" She yelled as she opened the doors to the stairs. She looked down over the railing and saw him, Akumu, and Yume a floor or two bellow her. "I got Alice!" She stated. Adonis saw that Danny had some clothes for them to change into.

Danny waited until everyone was fully changed, and said "Let's leave."
He lead his friends out of the hospital, sneaking them out, one by one. Once he got the last person out, he looked around in dismay. The majority of the city was still destroyed, and under repair. He noticed a construction worker, and sked him what had happened.
"Two months ago, Blossom Genetics had some sort of meltdown, and exploded. When it did, it sent these energy signals out, messed with evry'body's genetic pool, I guess. Most of the city was hit by whatever wave emitted."
"What parts of the city?" Danny asked.
"All of the south part of town was affected, as that's where the lab was closest to. About half of the west was, and some small parts of the east and north, but a little over a third of the entire city was evacuated by this one branch of the government, I can't remember their name though, sorry."
Danny's jaw dropped. His parents lived on the west side. He was quiet for a bit, then asked the worker
"What do you mean 1/3 of the town was evacuated?"
The man rubbed his forehead, the spoke.
"Well, about half the south was taken with the government, the other half are still there. I think some of the west was taken too, I can't say for sure, its still pretty fresh on the mind. Come to think of it, my math might not be adding up right..." The worker looked up, but Danny was gone, He went to his house, hoping that his family wasn't evacuated.
"Where'd he go? I didn't add that the city is also currently heavily guarded. For our, own safety of course." The worker said looking at the others, and approached them.
"So, were uh, you kids affected too?" -
(also, sorry if those paragraphs are really long, trying to add some exposition. if y'all are a little confused, the story will also start making a little more sense soon.)

Alice answered the worker "I don't know about most of us, but our friend Akumu seems to be one worse of it." She pointed at Akumu and continued "Poor guy looks like he's literally melting."

Yume winced slightly as Alice pointed out his brothers issue, before he shuddered as Akumu kinda glooped onto him when he lost his balance "brother your cold!" he whined, causing Akumu to laugh a little before the darker twin said a quiet "oh s---" as both his legs gooped and he fell down, the tendril that was wrapped over Yume's shoulder like an arm stretching as he fell
