Lust watches all of this with a big smile, humming gently as they watch all of this go down.

The water lady screeched a horrifying inhumanly cry and dived sideways when Gineye threw the grenade. When it exploded the dark horses in the water screeched while they flickered between human forms and horse forms.
Finn finally blinked awake from the excessive noise. He seemed fine and healed up now. Arwyn turned to Gineye and Avalon and said "Careful, those are kelpie. They probably have Aspen somewhere down there with them," She paused and then added, "...We could just leave him." -
Avalon said "What? No, we need to save him. He's probably the only one who can steer the boat. Even if he isn't, we can't leave him. Never leave a friend behind."
(Avalon has a little bit of chronic hero syndrome.) -
Gineye rolled his eyes behind his mask "Avalon hes hardly a friend" he said flatly, bouncing another grenade in his hand before looking at Arwyn "we wont need him later will we?

This is what catches Lust's attention, due to the fact that the sins consider Aspen a friend. Lust dives down into the water, switching places with Greed.
Greed would grow gills the moment they touched the water, due to having absorbed the power from some mermaid on a different adventure. -
Finn, finally understanding what was happening, hopped up. "Yeah, we can't leave him behind!" He said, siding with Avalon and Sin, who was now in the water. The kelpie abandoned their plan of luring them into the water and started trying to climb up the side of the ship.
Some kelpie stayed in the water to try and drag down Sin. There were about a dozen in all. Arwyn rubbed her temples. "We can't save everyone. Gineye's right. Aspen won't even be of use later," She said. -
Avalon just shook his head and said "You two are horrible people. Whether he's useful or not is irrelevant. His life is priority. And I'm gonna help him." He then pulled out his knife and dove into the water to back up Sin.

Gineye hissed out a curse in french as Avalon and Sin jumped, vaulting over the edge of the ship as his form unraveled into that of a spider-like monster, his bladded feet hooking onto the sides of the ship as he attacked tjlhe Kelpie

From greeds body, several odd blade like protrusions appeared, stabbing out towards any Kelpie's who got to close as they look for Aspen in order to save him.

The kelpie near Sin and Gineye were quickly pelted with holes and scratches. The kelpie screeched in ululating melodies, even the ones who weren't being attacked. In the water, Greed could see the bubble trail leading down to where Aspen had most likely fallen.
Finn tried to hop overboard to help with the search for Aspen, but Arwyn grabbed his foot and pulled him down roughly. He fell down with a thud and didn't get back up, obviously he'd been downplaying how badly he was still hurt. Without a word, Arwyn started throwing knives at any kelpie that somehow managed to slip past Gineye and get close to the railing of the boat. -
Avalon swam through the water and stabbed at least one kelpie. He swam deeper to get to Aspen. He couldn't see that well underwater but he could still find his friends.

Gineyes mask split apart to reveal a abyss of eyes and teeth as he screamed back at the Kelpies, sounding like thousands of people screaming at once.
