No, this isn't a Wizard of Oz spinoff u_u
Okay, so here's what I'm thinking: Epic fantasy, adventure, mystical forest, the whole shebang! There's a powerful wizard that our group of characters just have to see. Each character is seeing the wizard for a different reason, and that reason is up to you. Maybe to bring a loved one back to life, maybe to seek revenge, maybe to gain great fame and honor for their family name. Either way, we all band together for the journey. These unlikely allies, together for a difficult quest.
Now, the characters themselves can be totally up to you. I'm talking ogres, vampires, werewolves, half-breeds, demons, elves, humans that got cursed with powers, fairies, mermaids, whatever suits your fancy. As they say, "all legends are true"! -- Just try not to make them too overpowered, of course.

Rules: No godmodding, no one liners, no OP or mary sue characters. You can make up to 3 characters, but just stick to however many you can handle. If you're gonna quit or kill off a character, that's fine. If you decide to quit, just tell me.
Setting: It's a bleak Autumn. Whispers spread throughout the village of Ragno, speaking of another group that the Wizard of Death got to. This wizard, and the journey that accompanied his legend, was said to bring death to anyone that seeked him. No group had ever returned from this quest both alive and sane. This particular group was expected to set the legend to rest, as they were all highly experienced fighters and warriors. The rumors passed from lip to lip, from ear to ear, until it reached the ears of a barista, who laughed at the words in the dead of an Autumn night. The story began.
Alrighty so, one of my characters will be a barista in the village of Ragno, the village most groups stop by before starting their quest to see the wizard because this village is closest to the magical forest that you have to go through in order to reach him. How your character/s come into contact with mine is optional. -

Reason for going on quest: he kinda died? And his soul latched on to his cursed ax? He'd like to fix that please
Looks (face and outfit):
Personality: Gineye is very strange, and tends to unpredictable. He trys to make sure everyone is happy, but he really has no filter and does some really stupid s---
Powers/abilities/skills:can summon up to 50 feet of rope out of any part of his body. Can create up to 20 weapons over the course of several minutes. He can turn into an ax(if someone with a weak mind trys to use him in ax form he will posses them.). is an expert with crossbows and is pretty good with an ax.
Fears/weaknesses: loosing his mask, being trapped, dungeons/ if you mention the name Damien around him he will become very angery and irrational. He cant posses people if they have a strong mind or arnt directly touching him in ax form. If he is unconscious, he will revert into an ax
Weapon/s (if any): prefers using cross bows and axes, but has an arsenal at his disposal
Pet/s (if any): none
Other: trying to see whats under his mask is a one way ticket to stabby town -

Reason for going on quest: To resurrect his wife, a mermaid
Looks (face and outfit): He has brown hair, yellow reptilian eyes, slightly muscular, he doesn't have legs obviously and instead has a snake tail with scales colored and patterned like a diamond back rattlesnake, he is one of a few nagas with a rattle at the end of their tail. Wears just a gray shirt with shoulder armor and a belt with holsters for his knifes
Personality: Avalon is a nice and friendly kind of guy, never gets into conflicts with anyone and usually tries to find a peaceful solution. Underneath though, he does get depressed when he thinks about his wife, but he doesn't try and bring it up, it's only if people ask
Powers/abilities/skills: Even though he doesn't like to fight, he can squeeze someone with his tail or if that doesn't work he can bite them and inject venom. Lethality depends on your species and how much venom he chooses to release. He also has minor hypnotic powers
Fears/weaknesses: Anything with tough skin he can't inject venom into, his hypnosis is only temporary and only works with those possessing a weak will
Weapon/s (if any): Just a rarely used combat knife
Pet/s (if any): Ironically a pet rat named Toby

Species: Faerie*
Reason for going on quest: To kill the wizard
Looks (face and outfit):
Personality: Stern, serious, mysterious. Very emotionless and unstable. She has PTSD and might faint and fall into a flashback
Powers/abilities/skills: Good at herbs, medicine, cooking, and close-range fighting
Fears/weaknesses: Unable to fly due to her broken wings, and most of her fae magic was sapped out of her. Don't bring it up though, it'll trigger memories and cause her to either faint or get really angry
Weapon/s (if any): Knives that she keeps hidden throughout her attire
Pet/s (if any): None
Other: She's the barista, and she'll be starting off the story. You'll find out more about her backstory throughout the roleplay though. Arwyn's often mistaken for a regular human male
*Faerie and fairy are different. Fairies are smaller, about hand-sized, and they resemble flowers to camouflage. Fae are more humanoid -
(Avalon reminds me of that poem by edgar allen poe about a guy losing his wife named lenore :P)

Reason for going on quest: To become the wizard's apprentice
Looks (face and outfit):
Personality: Very optimistic and talkative. He enjoys making friends and he's very loyal to everyone he befriends. Finn's too trustworthy, though, which causes problems for him
Powers/abilities/skills: Specializes in telekinesis and fire
Fears/weaknesses: Though he has a lot of power and potential, he has little control and his powers are sporadic and dangerous, even to himself
Weapon/s (if any): None
Pet/s (if any): None (he'd love a pet but unless it's fireproof, he'll likely kill it by accident)
Other: People call him the "Eater of Souls" because of his scarf and the destruction he leaves behind the places he has visited (the destruction was an accident, oopsie) -
