Gineye lifted a hand to his mask to check it and cursed quietly when he felt the crack. "Weird blessing but ok
-
Greed frowns and would move over to sit by Gineye. " you okay there, gineye?" He asks worried about the other.
-
"Not much longer. We should reach shore by noon tomorrow as long as we don't encounter anything else... but knowing this team's luck, I think we might arrive by tomorrow night." Aspen answered Avalon.
Arwyn stared at Finn. He asked, "what's wrong?" worried that he'd done something to piss her off. Arwyn turned away and frowned. "Just worried about how you're healing up. Soul Eater," she said with a scoff before turning to walk to a different part of the ship -
Avalon rubbed his eyes, then his face and then sighed. "Heaven help us. I'd like to get through all of this. Really hope they just leave us alone for now."
-
Gineye tilted his head towards Greed "yeah, im fine. Why do you ask?" He asked, sounding a little confused
-
" Your mask is cracked. You seem upset about that." Greed admits, tone actually seeming genuine for once, as they tilt their head while looking at Gineye
-
"This is the price we pay for daring to wish for something better, brother," Aspen says as he claps Avalon on the back before going back to steer the ship.
Finn stood up and stretched, then winced a bit as he heard the last of his broken bones crack and snap back into place. Luckily, it didn't hurt, it was just a weird thing to hear. "Avalon, since we have some down time can you teach me how to fish?" Finn asks the naga excitedly. -
Avalon smiled a little bit at Aspen's empathy. He then looked at Finn and said "I would love to, if only we had a fishing pole."
-
Gineye winced a little when Greed said that "eh, its fine. Just mildly irritating, like a sun burn. It'll fix itself next time I reform" he said. He heard Avalon and chirped up "jokes on you i have at least one!" Before digging into his bag
-
Greed seems to notice something is up, but doesn't want to question the wince. " well if you say so." They yawn before they would go to curl up in a corner of the ship and sleep.
-
Finn smiled when Gineye said that he'd had fishing rods. "And.. and we need bait, too, right? I can try to summon some worms..." Finn hesitantly lifted his hands. Sure, most of his spells devolved into some form of fire, but any sorcerer worth their salt could summon something this simple.
Finn did the enchantment, and after a brief glow his gloved hands were holding a few worms. The worms were a bit charred, but it was the best nonfiery spell Finn had done in a while. He looked to Gineye and Avalon for approval. -
Avalon smiled and clapped a little to give encouragement. He said "Good job, Finn. Now I can help you learn to fish."
-
Gineye grinned as he pulled several fishing rods out of his bag, before twisting his head around to look at Finn "yooo thats great!" He praised gleefully, working on untangling one of the lines
-
" Good job...finn." greed calls put sleepily, before the odd being finally falls asleep, curled up in the corner of the ship.
-
"Thanks, guys!" Finn said cheerfully. He thanked Gineye for the fishing rods and watched attentively at how he and Avalon set up their lines.
Arwyn stood at the helm of the ship, watching the water distrustfully. For a second, Finn had almost reminded her of a certain someone... someone who had the misfortune staying buried in the sea forever. She shook as she sighed heavily.
