Gineye impulsively wrapped a rope around each of his companions and attached them to the railing, not wanting a repeat of earlier. When Avalon bit the arm he mad a little gagging noise "aw come on man you have no idea where that thing has been
-
Sin stands, looking terrified, with very little magical energy left and thus pretty much defenseless at this moment. " Then what is it?" They ask panickedly.
-
The creature raises it's head to look at Sin. It looked human-like, but its eyes were like bottomless pits. "I am qalupalik. It is hot here. Hot. Hot.." It pulls the arm Avalon bit back into the water and began swimming around the boat, more confused than threatening.
Arwyn immediately cuts the rope Gineye tries to wrap around her, avoiding it like the very notion of being restrained burned her. "I don't know what this creature is," Arwyn admitted, and she knew a lot of creatures. "It looks sad," Finn whispers. -
Avalon spat out, with the taste of this creature in his mouth and said "It worked didn't it. My venom should be affecting it any minute now." He kept spitting and rubbing this tongue with his hands to get the taste out of his mouth.
-
Gineye twitched slightly when Adonis cut the rope but didn't try to grab her again. "Well tell me if your tongue rots off" he chirped in mild amusement before refocusing on the thing "I could try to posses it? Find out what it is that way
-
" ...Finn's right...it looks sad. I...I want to help it!" Sin insists, looking very serious, as they look down into the water at Qalupalik.
"...maybe...maybe its too hot?" -
Arwyn looks amused at Sin and Finn, the two people the qalupalik tried to target now pitying the creature. She shrugs. "That's probably an affect of the poison. It's gonna paralyze soon and then die," She says without paus or remorse.
Arwyn pauses then glances at the creature again, looking like she's considering something. "Well... I am a bit curious. Gineye I wouldn't mind you possessing it before it goes down, just to know a bit more about it. As long as you're sure Avalon's poison won't hurt you while you're in there," She says. -
(Effect.)
Avalon said "It shouldn't I don't think venom carries over from possession. Course, I've never seen it and I doubt any other nagas have either." -
Gineye shrugged "I mean, I'm dead already so it shouldnt." He said with a hum before tying a rope around his ankle and handing the other end to one of the others. He then carefully climbed over the railing and headed down towards the creature, using knives protruding from his hands and feet to hold onto the ship. Once he got close he manifested hi ax, holding out the handle to the creature to see if it would grab it
-
Sin would grab onto the side of the ship, peering over at Gineye, wanting to know if the creature was really evil, or if it just needed help. Their eyes are soft, and they look like they might start crying any second now.
-
The creature lifted the hand that Avalon didn't bite and grabbed onto the ax with it's wrinkly fingers. Immediately, Gineye could remember the experiences the qalupalik went through. It used to live up north in cold seas. It would swim around and kidnap any misbehaving children. The locals got tired of this and banded together to banish the creature south.
"Hey Avalon how long do you reckon your poison will take to kill a creature of that size?" Arwyn asked curiously. Finn gave Arwyn a disapproving look. -
Avalon looked at he creature and said "Assuming it isn't immune or very resistant. Roughly I'd say 30 minutes to one hour for a human sized thing."
-
Gineyes glowing irises took on a purple tint as he sifted thought the creatures memory's, humming quietly to himself before speaking up "well i think its pretty much harmless to us. It used to live up north, and it kidnapped misbehaving children to teach them a lesson" the undead construct said thoughtfully, tilting his head a little
-
"...We should help it." Sin says as they looksl over at it, feeling highly sympathetic. "...Do you have a cure avalon?" They ask hopefully.
-
"No wonder it's so weak. It's not in it's natural habitat," Arwyn says. Finn pipes up and backs up Sin, "Yeah exactly... I don't think it's right to kill it. It didn't even have enough strength to hurt anybody," He says. He looks at Avalon with big pleading eyes.
