“Oh. I’m sorry, it is strange to me.” She said, deciding it was better if she left him alone since he clearly -right? she thought - did not want to have this conversation. She continued he task of slicing vegetables.

Isaac shook his head in pure confusion. It was hard to wrap his head around the idea that Caroline thought that his crying was strange. I mean, she was there in the grocery store. She had witnessed his panic with her own two eyes. She knew that he was in a relatively negative state of mind. So what about a few tears was so out of the ordinary? He silently chuckled in annoyance.
On the television, the hosts of The Kitchen were getting excited over how beautiful the shrimp was cooking. Isaac enjoyed the fact that the audience cheered over every little thing that the hosts did. They could sprinkle cinnamon over oatmeal and evoke a cacophony of 'oo's and 'aa's. -
After she finished cutting the vegetables and packing them, she looked up and watched some of the cooking show. Deciding that the shrimp would make a nice meal for tonight, she sat down on the couch, her hand folded neatly on her lap, as she also watched the show.
