Nia blushed in embarrassment and looked away. "Uh... Nothing... Never mind... I'm speaking stupid nonsense... don't mind me." She giggled awkrawdly as she reached for the door handle. -
"Wait" Alex said, still grasping a hand

Nia blushed as she avoided his gaze, still a bit embarrassed. "Yeah?" She asked, confused by all the mixed messages.

Alex kissed her on the cheek, then let go and went to his bed to put on his boxers

Nia took a deep breath as she leaned against the door and held her head, trying to calm the buzzing in her head.

When he finished, Alex had some skinny jeans and a t-shirt on, as long as a hoodie and sunglasses

"Should we go now?" Nia asked, hoping she didn't embarrass herself too much.

"Sure" Alex said as he grabbed a wad of bills

Nia opened the door for Alex and calmed her mind as she smiled, happy to know he felt the same way.

Alex bowed at Mother when he left, and held on to Nia's hand as they walked

Nia smiled as she walked with Alex. She wondered what would happen if they ran into anyone Alex knew. Would he want anyone to know about this, someone as proper as he was being with the new girl that got off on the wrong foot? No less his step sister? Nia guesses she would be okay with that if it were to be the kind of relationship kept between them. In fact it might be more of a challenge that way. However she was curious because based on what she knew about him it could go that way, but based on how he was acting now it could go a very different way. Nia decided to focus on the topic at hand as they entered the costume shop. She needed to find a good costume for a servant.
