"Oh, more than me? I'm offended" Alex said, moving his hand away

"I meant you." Nia replied, rolling her eyes and chuckling a bit nervously.

He smiled, and walked into the restaurant

Nia followed, deciding to stay quiet for now since she went a bit far with the teasing.

Once they got to the counter, Alex jokingly said "Yeah I'll have uuhhhhhhhhh"

"Two bacon cheese burgers and two root beers." Nia ordered, placing the money on the table. "Would you like fries?" The counter lady asked. "Yes, one large order of fries." Nia replied. "Take too long, I order for you." She then told Alex with a grin.

Alex just start at the menu "Uhhhhhhh"

"I already ordered, stop going uhhhhhh." Nia sighed as she waited for the order.

Nia rolled her eyes as the woman stared at him in confusion. "He's... special." Nia told the counter woman. The counter lady nodded before continuing to work on the meal. Nia chuckled and looked at Alex to see how he'd react.

"Someone's not getting it tonight" Alex thought, then chuckled grimly.

Nia blushed as she tucked her hair behind her ear. "W-what do you mean?" She asked, looking away.
