Nia blushed and looked away. "Uh... Dare." She replied, switching her earlier choice.

"I dare you to tell me"

Nia groaned for an eternity before eating a French fry to calm herself. "Uh... I dreamt about variables... Like the ones you use in math... It was weird." She replied as she avoided his gaze. Technically not a lie, since those did feature in her dream.

Alex just stared at her

"What?" Nia asked, avoiding his gaze but feeling his stare.

"Nothing" he said as he took a bite

Nia sighed in relief before continuing. "Truth or Dare?" Nia asked.

"Dare" Alex smiled

Nia tried to think of a good one. "Hmm... I dare you... I dare you to tell me a secret, someone that no one else knows about you." Nia dared with a grin.

"I used to have a crush on Franco" Alex said after some thought

"Seriously?" Nia replied. "Actually, that makes sense." She teased, smirking as she drank her root beer.

"When we were 3" he said before taking a gulp
