Ashley soon turned her camera towards the sky, sure her followers would love the adoring sunset as the sky transitioned from the afternoon to night. She adored the twinkling stars and the wondrous color scheme. A smile adorned her features as her camera continued to click, click and then beep. The camera battery was dead but, the pictures were saved as the screen had turned black, she listened to Carson's words.
''A real date?'' Ashley questioned, licking her lips as she placed her camera back into her bag. She thought about it but, she wasn't sure if she did want to go on a date at the very least, tomorrow. Ashley would have to reschedule the update for Tuesday. Her normal routine would be spending most of Sunday writing the new post and editing it on Monday to have it ready in the afternoon. A small date and rescheduling wouldn't hurt anyone, at the very least that's what she hoped. ''Sure, where to? So, I can be prepared,'' Ashley said, clinging to the jacket. -
"It's a surprise. But I'll tell you any details you'll need to know. I'll meet you at your house to drive you at 11:30 Saturday morning. You'll be home by 3:00 Sunday afternoon. We might go swimming. And we might be dancing. We'll be alone." Carson told her, making sure to tell her the important details without giving away the surprise.
-
Ashley thought about it for a moment, twirling the small unbraided lock of hair that remained limp at the end of her unruly braid. She'll have speak with her mother, and not tell her brother. ''Dancing and swimming? I can't swim in a dress and I can't dance in a pair of old denim shorts,'' Ashley said with a laugh. ''Well, time with you, without Curtis and James sound nice,'' She hummed soon realizing her mistake. ''I-I mean, not to be r-rude but, when, um, it's like us and t-this, um,'' Ashley stammered unable to find the right words.
-
Carson chuckled. "Don't worry. I understand what you mean. You can pack more than one outfit. Just put an outfit for Sunday, something comfortable for the night, a towel, and a bathing suit into a bag." He told her. He would pack the rest.
-
Ashley ran her fingers through her hair, brows furrowed. ''Should I dress elegantly or casually?'' She questioned, opening her phone to take some guesses on location. They could be staying overnight in a hotel in another town, or even camping, or exploring and staying overnight in the location. Ashley shifted her bag on her lap, her brows furrowed in thought.
-
"Whatever you like dancing in I guess." Carson told her. "What do you say?" He asked, wanting to confirm that she was going.
-
-
''Of course, I'll go,'' Ashley said, licking her lips. ''I'm excited for tomorrow,'' She hummed, smiling. Ashley shifted on the bench, lifting her on feet onto the small space that was untaken. She cautiously rested her head on his shoulder, somewhat stiff thinking she was rushing their relationship slightly.
-
Carson smiled and wrapped an arm around her.
(Time skip?) -
Yeah.))
Ashley had worn her denim shorts, with her usual bag and camera with her charged phone in case she wanted to watch downloaded movies with Carson. Ashley had put on yellow-ish boots and wore her black polo shirt. She paced around the living room, looking out the window and then sitting down trying to relax only to repeat the process. Ms. Moore would watch her daughter as Joshua was sitting down on the couch eating leftovers. ''Ash,'' Ms. Moore said, leaning against a door frame. ''He's going to show, just relax, you pacing around isn't going to help anyone,'' Ms. Moore said, her gaze shifting to the couch. ''Yeah, and eat something,'' Joshua suggested, gazing at his sister as she only groaned in the process. -
(BRB. Have to have a shower.)

Carson packed up the back of his pick up truck with a duffel bag for the tent kit, a cooler for the food, a bag of extra stuff, his radio, and his back pack with clothes and other necessities. Carson covered the back up with tarp so that the stuff wouldn't fall off or be seen. Once he finished strapping on the stuff, he got into the drivers seat and headed off to Ashley's. He parked the car in front of her house and took a CD out of his bag. It was a play list he made for the long car ride.
-
''He's here,'' Joshua cooed, a laugh escaping his lips. Ashley grabbed her backpack as well as a plastic bag full of snacks in case the drive was longer than she thought. She fidgeted, staring down the hall that led to the front door. ''Should I go? Mom,'' Ashley pleaded, her brows furrowed. ''Ash, just go, he's waiting, and I sure hope everything is fine, tell that boy to text me and your brother before getting there in case something bad happens,'' Ms. Moore said, as Ashley nodded. She took a breath and left the house. Hands clinging to the plastic bag as she approached the car. ''Hey,'' Ashley said, entering the car and taking a seat.
-
"Hey there." Carson greeted, putting the CD in and putting the case away. "Sorry that I'm late. My mom saw me packing and she thought I was moving out. So I had to calm her down and explain that I was just going out on a trip with my girlfriend. That started a whole new conversation." Carson explained, chuckling as he started the truck. He set the car to CD before pulling into the road as the first song played. (

Ashley couldn't help but, grin at the word girlfriend, a small laugh escaping her lips. ''This song is great,'' Ashley said, drumming her fingers on her lap to the beat. She smiled, leaning against the back seat. Ashley felt excited from Carson's words from earlier, calming down her frantic nerves.
