Noelle felt anger and guilt build within her as she started the car back up. ''Daddy didn't disappear on you, daddy is mad because mommy disappeared on you,'' Noelle said, leaning against her seat looking back at Shawn. She locked the doors to the car, not wanting him to leave once she told him the news. ''That's why mommy and daddy aren't going to be together anymore,'' Noelle mumbled, as she picked up her phone. ''I need to make a call,'' She grumbled. Noelle started, calling Andy as the ringing of the phone soothed her anger.
-
Andy picked up the phone. "Noelle? Are you okay?" He asked.
Shawn sighed. What would you call getting drunk, leaving the house, getting in the car, and driving away, leaving your kids alone? If you don't call it walking out on them, what do you call it? However, he decided it best not to say anything. -
Noele was hesitant when answering the question, personally asking herself the same thing. ''I..I'm fine,'' She said, rubbing at her temples. ''I'm going to go back to my house and drop the kids off but, I don't think I can stay at that house,'' Her words were emphasized as Noelle glanced over her shoulder at Shawn. ''Is it alright if I can stay at your place, Andy?'' Noelle questioned brows furrowed, as she looked at the long road ahead.
-
"Of course." Andy replied. He wondered if he should let her sleep in his room or if that would make them uncomfortable.
Olivia frowned, clearly her plan was backfiring. At least that woman was miserable. That made Olivia feel a bit better. However she knew that she failed to get Andy back... -
''Thanks, Andy, I owe you for doing so much for me,'' Noelle said, a visible grin on her lips. ''I got to start driving, I'll call you soon okay?'' Noelle said, feeling giddy knowing she'll be spending the night with Andy. ''Bye, love you,'' She hummed, soon hanging up reluctantly. Once the phone back down in her car, Noelle began driving down the street, taking a long way home back to the house.
-
"Who were you talking to?" Shawn asked, knowing it was his mother's new boyfriend. Perhaps before tonight, he would just assume it was his father and not say anything. He knew better now, but tried not to be too hard on her.
-
''Andy, he's a great man but, I'm not sure if you and Alianna would like him especially since he's..erm, um,'' Noelle mumbled, clearing her throat. ''Since he's my boyfriend,'' She announced, knowing well there is no reason to hide anything from her children, not anymore. Noelle remained silent after the news, and continued driving, soon seeing the house she once called home.
-
"Does he treat you better than Daddy treats you?" Shawn asked, remembering some cases where there Dad showed little care about their mom and more care for getting her to obey him. Taming her as if she was an animal. Of course, sometimes, Shawn saw both his parents and some other people as animals.

Noelle bit her bottom lip as the car was pulled into the driveway, stopping ever so gently. Her eyes noticed Braden's car and the lights inside the house lit, bringing the home to life. Her brows furrowed as she took a moment to think as Shawn's questions replayed in her head. ''Yes, he does,'' She whispered, licking her lips. When she thought of times being with Braden, the good and the dreadfully bad. From his caring behavior during her pregnancies to the horrid controlling nature he had whenever she went anywhere or did anything in particular. ''I'm sorry if I upset you and Alianna,'' Noelle said, her eyes gazing at the front door. ''I don't think there is anything as a mother, I can do for you, to make it up to you,'' Noelle said, turning around to look at Shawn.
He sure is growing up, I can see it, Noelle thought, clearing her throat. ''I'll get Allianna, go inside, and try to calm down your father,'' Noelle said, rubbing at her temples. ''He probably could've had a heart attack, you two worried the hell out of him,'' Noelle mentioned, getting out of the passenger seat to go grab Alianna from the back of the car. -
"If he treats you better... Then I'll learn to live with it. It would probably be better for Alliania to grow up with a father that loves his wife, so that she knows what to seek in a relationship... I just hope she won't see cheating as the way to find love..." Shawn sighed, thinking out loud at this point. He turned to his mother as guilt appeared in his eyes. My father deserves to have one... He nearly gave my sister depression... he thought as he got out the car and followed his mother.
-
Noelle cleared her throat, at his response. He must hate us, so much, Noelle thought, a small, gentle smile on her lips. ''It's okay, I hope she finds a man who loves her just as much as she loves him but, no time soon, I still want you too to be my little sweet babies,'' Noelle said, grinning as she went into the back. She gently grabbed Alianna who stirred in her sleep as Noelle held her. Once locking the car, the car beeping alerted the panicked man inside the home.
''Oh my god,'' Braden mumbled as he stood at the front door. His brown hair a jumbled mess as it seemed tangled, his eyes were puffy and red from crying, his cheeks stained with the tears. His face red with anger, sadness, and embarrassment. Braden remained silent as he went down the porch steps, and gestured Shawn inside, of course, wanting to talk with him later. He approached Noelle, going to grab Alianna as she took a step back. ''Give me my daughter, you b----,'' Braden snarled, as Noelle only held a firm grasp on her. ''Back off, Braden, she's my daughter too, my baby girl,'' She hissed, furious with his behavior, however, his behavior was reasonable with her betrayal. -
Shawn didn't go inside like his father asked and hid behind his mother. After all, his father was the one that walked out on them for nothing. At least his mother had a real reason to be late coming home. His father just outright left. "Maybe... We should just talk this through... It can't work that only one of you have custody over us..." Shawn muttered. He knew that if it came to that, the courts would put him and Alliania into his father's custody. If he had to choose between a man who would have traumatic anger issues after this and a woman that would have guilt issues after this he would much much rather his mother. Even if in short term, she was in the wrong, his father was in the wrong long term.

''I swear, Shawn, shut the f--- up and get inside!'' Braden was fuming, normally his anger occurred with Noelle and him on their own. Alianna awoke from Braden's screaming, as her eyes went wide, fear written in her eyes. Noticing this, Noelle gently placed her feet on the ground and kept her close. She held both her children close, as she glared at Braden. ''What's going on, Shawn?'' Alianna whispered, nervous as she stood stiffly. ''You, betraying, lying, sinning slut! I swear to whatever type of whore God you believe in that I will beat the s--- out of you for what you did to them, to me!'' He said, pushing the children aside. Noelle, now furious shoved him. ''You can do whatever the hell you want to me,'' She began, becoming more forceful with her pushing him. ''But, you do not touch my kids!'' She yelled. The neighbors were alerted with the yelling but did nothing, it happened often when the two were sound asleep.
''I do as I please,'' Braden growled with fury, as he grabbed Noelle arm. He shoved her to the ground. He wanted to beat her until she either bled, disappeared, or was erased from him forever. Once on the ground, Noelle panicked, her eyes on Shawn and Alianna but, Braden focused on her. He grabbed her hands, pinning them together. With his other hand, he took one punch to her side, Noelle wincing in pain, biting her bottom lip. Braden had yelled and cried, and fumed with rage but, never had he hit Noelle. Now, after the one fearful punch, he continued. Punching her sides but, never aiming near her face. -
Shawn hugged Alliania tight, covering her eyes and ears. He whispered comforting stories to her, trying to distract her. "This is the story about a Monarch Butterfly. The princess of the Monarch Butterflies. She was mocked by all the other Marnarchs, because her wings were blue on one side and brown on the other instead of just orange like the others." Shawn began, trying to ignore the fighting and distract her.

Alianna could still hear her mother's desperate pleas for help as she was blinded from her sight, he was trying to help her but, she panicked. ''Shawn, Shawn, we need to help, mommy!'' She cried, her hands shaking. ''Mommy,'' Alianna clawed at her brother's hands that covered her eyes and tried to peel them away. ''Mommy! Mommy! Call the police, the ambulance, call her boyfriend, I don't care! Help mommy, Shawn! Mommy!'' Alianna sobbed, tears streaking down her cheeks and onto Shawn's hands. ''Pl-Please, help mommy!'' Her lips quivered as she was kicking and fighting, protesting to be set free from Shawn's hold.
