Persephone hoped she'd say yes. She couldn't stand the suspense.

"Uh... Sure." Kate replied, figuring he'd probably walk with her either way since they were both heading in the same direction. She blushed as she walked down the walk way. Brian smiled as they walked towards the school.

Persephone walked out the house and quietly followed both of them, making sure Kate didn't see her.

"Well I was born in Mississippi. My parents had a problem with the town so we moved to Minnesota. My parents decided the problem was dealt with and moved back to Mississippi. But they sent me to boarding school just in case." Kate told him. Careful not to mention what that problem was. The last thing she wanted was for Brian to think she's crazy.

Persephone continued to follow. She did make some noise but was hoping no one noticed.

"I'm from New York." Brian told her. "A city boy?" Kate asked. "Yup. Born and raised." Brian laughed. "Cool." Kate replied, putting her hands in her pockets. "So what was that problem exactly?" Brian asked. "That's classified." Kate replied, crossing her arms and smirking. "Please? I won't tell anyone." Brian told her. "Nope. Sorry." Kate replied.
"Only my friends know." Kate answered. "Well I guess we'll have to be friends then." Brian replied with a grin. "Guess so." Kate replied, running ahead so that he wouldn't see her smiling like a fool or blushing. "Hey! Get back here!" Brian laughed, chasing after her. -
Persephone ran to keep up. She was liking this, it seemed Kate's got a boyfriend.

Brian caught up to Kate. "Well, see ya later." He told her, taking her base ball cap and running away. "Hey! Give that back!" Kate yelled. But he was already in the crowd. Kate frowned and returned to her dorm room. She would just have to find him some other time.

Persephone caught up to Kate and had a big grin on her face. -
Kate saw Persephone and frowned. She made sure her roommate wasn't there before getting up. "Did you follow me here?" She asked.

Persephone said "Yes, and I noticed you TOTALLY HAVE A CRUSH ON THAT GUY!"

"No I don't." Kate lied, her cheeks blushing. "Is it that obvious...?" Kate asked with a frown, sitting on her bed.

Persephone said "Only to me, cause I know you better than anyone. And it is kinda obvious."

"Oh..." Kate replied. "Do you think he knows?" She asked nervously, fidgeting with her hair.
