Kate nodded as they entered the dorm. Matilda was reading a book. As usual. Clearly Kate must have imagined the crying.

Persephone said "Hey, buddy."

Kate frowned in jealousy. Persephone was her friend. Kate kept her cool though because Matilda ignored Persephone anyway.
