Kate ran into her room after classes. The book worm was doing home work. Kate switched into her normal clothes and texted Persephone.
Kate: She isn't his girl friend!!! She's his sister!
Kate: He wants to meet me at the court yard. 😊 -
Persephone looked at the text and texted back.
Persephone: What? That's great. This could be your chance. -

Kate: I don't know.
Kate: You think? -
Persephone: YES!

Kate: Ok. Wish me luck.
Kate put her phone in her pocket and walked out the door. -
Persephone sat there and wondered how this will all turn out.

Kate walked to the courtyard and looked through the window. Brian was already there, sitting at the picnic table. Kate entered and stood there awkwardly. Brian heard her and smiled as he turned around. "Hi Mississippi!" He teased with a smirk. Kate laughed. "The names Kate." Kate laughed. "Ah. I see." Brian replied. Kate chuckled and sat beside him.

Persephone couldn't stick around anymore and decided to secretly go to where Kate was and spy.

"So, that was your sister you were hugging in the field?" Kate asked. Brian nodded. "Yeah... Her dumb s*** boyfriend cheated on her." Brian replied. "Oh." Kate replied. "When you got angry, I decided I would get her to tell you." Brian told Kate. "Ok. I thought..." Kate blurted. "Never mind..." She added, blushing and turning away.

Persephone found a good spot to hide near Kate and the guy. She tried to stay silent.

"Thought what?" Brian asked, tilting his head at her. "I said never mind." Kate replied, standing up. Brian noticed Kate tuck her hair behind her ears, her arm trembling nervously. He blushed and stood behind her. So Kate forced herself to turn to him. Brian smirked when he saw her blushing. "I... I thought you two were..." Kate blurted. "Dating?" Brian asked, chuckling as he started walking closer.
