Alex sat across from her and began to eat. "What do you like to do Lily?" Alex asked. She wanted to learn about the girl so that she could keep her occupied for the day.

"I like to draw! And catch bugs! And froggies!" Lily responded cheerfuly.

"Okay." Alex replied, frowning. She hoped she wouldn't be finding bugs or frogs in the house. She got out some paper and crayons so that Lilly could draw.

Lily happily began to draw, she was drawing some kind of frog cat hybrid, it was basically a frog with cat ears, tail, and eyes, and she thought it was awesome.

Alex frowned slightly at the drawing. She didn't say anything though because she knew that Lilly was just a child.

Lily continued to draw, she was now drawing the background.

"How old are you Lilly?" Alex asked, eating her own breakfast.

Lily thought for a few moments before she finally said, "Seven!"

"Ok. You clearly know how to read and communicate. Do you go to school?" Alex asked.

Lily shook her head, "Nope!"

"How did you learn to speak and read?" Alex asked, taking their dishes when they were done eating.

"People!" Lily said cheerfully.

"People? There have been others taking care of you?" Alex asked as she entered the kitchen and began to clean the dishes.

Lily shook her head, "No."

"But someone taught you how to talk and read. So they must have known you were here." Alex replied as she dried the dishes.
