Alex joyfully packed her bags. Finally! She graduated University! Now it was time to get out of her dusty, loud city apartment, and move to a peaceful cottage. "I'm gonna miss you so much!!!" Alex's roommate Candace squealed. "The feelings mutual Candace. But don't worry. Maybe we'll get to hang out some time." Alex replied as she stacked her boxes. Of course, that probably wouldn't happen. Because her main reason for moving was to avoid people.

Lily sat on a bed swinging her legs, she was wearing a pink T-shirt with a rainbow on it and a slightly darker pink skirt, she was busy drawing a unicorn on a rainbow. She knew that someone was going to move into the cabin soon, which meant someone new to 'haunt'.

Rain padded softly and drizzled from the sky. Alexandra smiled as she got into her car and followed the moving truck. Soon she was out of the city and she was under a starry sky. The trees towered beside the road and eventually she drove onto a dirt road with a meadow on one side and a lake on the other. At the end of the road was a meadow next to the lake where a lovely house stood.

Lily heard cars coming so she crawled under a dresser and then went down a secret trap door that led to a secret room that was where she hid, she put her finished drawing on the wall along with all her other drawings. She never knew why exactly this room was here in the first place, but she was happy that it was.

Alexandra entered the house and spun in joy. It was already fully furnished. But it would still fit her few stuff perfectly. It was awfully dusty... And there were cobwebs and dirty windows. The garden was full of weeds and there was crayon on some of the walls. However with a little work, this place would be perfect!

Lily sat on a chair and listened to the sounds above her, she was going to wait till whoever moved in was asleep to actually do anything.

Once everything was packed up, Alex got changed into her pajamas and went to bed. She dreamed of laying in the meadow, reading a book. The forest around her dream self was grey and peaceful. The book had a black cover and long text. Her dream self was at peace.

When she was sure that the person was asleep Lily sneaked out of her secret room and crept across the floor, she then began move some stuff around including some of the new owner's things, satisfied that this was enough for the first night she crept back to the secret room and went to sleep.

That's odd... Where did it go? Alex wondered, trying to find her coffee maker. She finally found it and decided that she wasn't used to the new house yet. Alex sighed and collapsed on the couch, drinking her coffee.

Lily was on the floor making a black cat head shaped pillow using some fabric and stuffing she found, she wondered who owned the house now, she didn't even know if they were a man or a woman.

After she was done her coffee, Alexandra began research to find a job in the area. She had gotten a degree as a teacher. So she was hoping to get a teaching job. However it seemed that none were available right now.

Lily finished the pillow and then climbed on the ladder to the trap door and listened for any sounds. She didn't hear anything quickly got bored so she went back down the ladder and began to draw a picture.

Alex sighed and began to read a novel. She wondered how she was going to pay for food and bills. Perhaps a job would come up. She was signed into the school board. So if they needed her they would contact her.

Lily was bored so she climbed back up the ladder and peeked out the trapdoor, she saw no one so she continued to stand there and listen for anything interesting.
