He shook his head "not any that i know of" he said as he flicked his tail

"Same here." Laura told him, taking a sip of her tea to calm down and hide her blushing.

Archaios smiled faintly and then he looked around, his ears twitching

"Are you okay?" Laura asked, noticing his ears twitch.

He nodded after a second, looking destracted "someones playing with a dog whistle

"Oh?" Laura asked. She focused her ears and could hear it. She didn't hear it at first because of all the crowded chatter. However now that he mentioned it she heard it. But it was odd... They were playing it in a beat. How could someone play a dog whistle as an instrument when humans can't hear it? Maybe it was accidental.

Archaios frowned and rubbed his ears "i hope they stop soon" ue said softly as his tail twitched

Laura nodded as the waiter returned to ask them what they would like to eat. Laura ordered speghetti.

Laura played with her hair as she looked around. She wasn't sure what to say next. "My father was from Canada. So that's why I'm going there. To learn about him." Laura told Archaios.

archaios smiled faintly and nodded "seems like a good reason" he said as his ears twitched

"Yeah..." Laura replied. She decided that they shouldn't take the North Dakota route... Or else the trauma might be too much for her. Plus it would be too predictable and the agency could plain to ambush her there.

Archaios tilted his head slightly as his ears angled towards the door, idly noticing that the whistling he had been hearing had become higher pitched and the sound that normally would be painful to hear was oddly soothing
