Archaios hummed quietly and closed his eyes

Laura blushed and turned down the radio as she listened to his humming. The humming made her feel safe.

Archaios didnt notice the volume of the radio lower and kapt humming, mumbling words to a song

Laura smiled as she listened. She tried too figure out what song he was singing. Her smile disappeared when she heard a helicopter in the distance. Hopefully it wasn't there for them. Laura pulled gently into the backroad just in case.

Archaios heard the helicopter and fell silent, panic showing in his eyes as he sat up

Laura heard the helicopter still above them and put the car on auto drive. She opened the sky window and climbed up onto the roof.

Archaios watched her in worry, his ears flat

Laura glared at the helicopter. She swore and leapt back in as she recognized the logo. She turned off auto drive and sped down the road. She turned every turn she found and once they were far enough away she jerked to a stop. "Get out and run. They're after me." She told him.

panic flashed across his face as his eyes started glowing before he quickly shook his head

"Please. I'll come back." She told him. After he still refused she took off his seat belt and pushed him out. "Run!!!" She yelled, trying not to cry as she closed the door and locked it. She opened the window and yelled "If I escape I'll meet you on the other side of the field. There should be a road over there." She told him before closing the window and driving away.

Archaios yelped when he was shoved out and whimpered fearfully before he tried to follow her truck. After about a miniute he stopped and started looking around for the helicopter

The helicopter didn't see Archaios and flew over him as they caught up to Laura. Laura turned as many corners as she could. Half of why she did that was to protect Archaios... Even though she knew she could fight them off... She also didn't want him to see her in her rage... If he did he could be terrified of her. Laura pulled into another field and leapt out of the car. She took out her claws and watched as the helicopter landed. "You're still alive?" She growled as the man from earlier came out. "Fraid so." He replied. "Not for long." Laura growled, filling up with rage as the man smirked.

Archaios whimpered softly as his ears went down before he started walkinh, his tail dragging along behind him
