Archaios tilted his head slightly at it as he took it

Laura parked and began to eat her cheese burger. She wondered who abondoned Archaios. Most likely his parents. "Whoever it was that abondoned you, they were either stupid cowards, or they thought they were protecting you." Laura told him.

Archaios's ears pressed flat against his head as he silently started eating, his tail twitching

"Sorry. I'll drop it then." She sighed, eating her burger.

"Sorry" Archaios said softly "i just dont like remembering what happened" he ran a finger over some scars on his arms that looked like they where from chains

"Okay. I understand." Laura replied, finishing her dinner. She wiped her hands off on her pants before driving off.

Archaios only ate half of his burger before tucking it back in the box, curling his tail around it

Laura drove into the highway and watched Toshiro. "So why are you heading to Canada? I'm going to learn more about my father." Laura told him.

Archaios shrugged slightly "to try to get away, mostly" he said softly -
(Oops. LOL!)
"Okay." Laura replied, studying his scars. She had seen worse. But she still had empathy for Archaios. -
Archaios curled upin a little ball and hugged his tail,falling silent

Laura blushed as she watched him. "You okay?" She asked. Laura whispered in case he was sleeping. She wondered if there was ever a time she felt that peaceful...

Archaios nodded slightly but didnt say anything, staring out the window

Laura smiled and watched Archaios from the corner of her eye.
