Hendrina held her hand up for him to stop. She walked over to the torches, in her hand she took the slip of paper with Zack's name printed on it and took the match from the man's hand. She held the match to the torch, allowing the slip of paper to burn. The ashes fell to her feet and the people cheered. With that her mother closed the curtains, Hendrina walked over to Zack. ''I want this just between me and you, it's supposed to be a special moment right? So let's go to the garden,'' Hendrina said, hand on his cheek with a smile on her lips. ''We'll be in the garden, please do not hesitate to go there if I am needed,'' She said to the small group of people on the stage. Music began playing as Hendrina took his hand, tears prickling her eyes as she couldn't believe what he had wanted for the both of them. ''Let's go,'' She croaked out, not wanting to have the tears slip away to ruin the precious makeup that took time for her to do.

Zack nodded his head and puts the ring back into it's case and took her hand with his free one before heading to the garden.

Once in the garden, the moonlight shone against her skin, as she spotted the familiar seat where they would sit together and talk. Her heart pounded against her chest as she had never would have thought she would be in love with an elf. ''Would you like to sit?'' Hendrina questioned her eyes directed on to the box. The ring was beautiful and all she could ever do was look at the teasing box as well as her pale, cold hands. Her cheeks dusted pink and she prayed the darkness would hide her warm cheeks.

Zack sat down as he took off his helmet and mask.He then looked at her,smiling.

Sitting beside the prince, Hendrina placed her cheek against his. The cool breeze cooling her cheeks. ''I love you...'' She whispered allowing her words to drift with the wind. ''But, may I ask, why are you so silent tonight?'' Hendrina questioned. Hendrina closed her eyes, forehead pressed against his. She took small breathes, allowing to listen to the night. The crowd cheered, laughed, and danced their voices muffled by the walls, the animals of the night sang their songs, and she listened to relaxing music.

"I love you too."Zack said as he smiled,playing with the box"So do you accept?"He asked as he held her close.

''Of course I would!'' Hendrina exclaimed, laughing as she did so. She could feel the beating of her heart as her lips curved into a grin. Hendrina kissed his cheek, then his nose, then his other cheek, wherever her lips could kiss any expose skin. When she gave him a small kiss, she always whispered the words; ''I love you'' on repeat without no need to receive the words back.

Zack smiled and puts the ring on her ring finger.

Hendrina smiled as she could feel the cool ring on her finger. Giggling, Hendrina felt her heart soar. "Queen Hendrina!" Her mother called, standing by the doorway. Hendrina was given a bright from her mother. "You best not hurt my daughter or I will call war with your Kingdom, Prince Zackery," Ms. Martin called, with a smile and a wave. Ms. Martin approached the two, with a smile. "The guests are leaving, seems to be you two missed the final dances if you're hungry you can always call for someone,'' Ms. Martin mumbled, ''You two should go to sleep, and start preparing for the wedding," She continued, her eyes tired. ''Your father and I will be taking a visit to the Elven Kingdom, we'll be gone for the week but, we'll be in time for the wedding," She mumbled, eyebrows furrowed. "Is that alright?" Ms. Martin questioned, looking at the two.

''Yeah, okay,'' Hendrina muffled. Her mother nodded, smiling. ''Well, goodnight you two. Don't stay up too late,'' Ms. martin said, with a chuckle. With that, her mother walked away, silence settling in the garden. She admired the night sky, the stars twinkling above them. Lips curved into a smile, Hendrina's eyes trained on the prince. ''Once my parents return, do you wish to return to your kingdom for a brief visit?'' She questioned, eyebrows raised.

Zack nodded his head"If you want to come with me."

''Of course, I do! I never directly met the Elven King and Queen, perhaps I could meet them? Invite them to the wedding? Could I also meet more of your family members? That'll be delightful,'' Hendrina hummed, excitement lacing her voice. ''As soon as my mother and father return from the trip we can go but, until then, we should write them a letter, telling them of our visit,'' Hendrina said, a smile on her lips as she thought of all the shops she wished to visit, perhaps even pick out her wedding dress or decorations for the wedding.

''I can't wait to meet your parents, after so long of you being here,'' Hendrina said smiling. With a yawn, Hendrina closed her eyes, content with the longing need of the hug. ''Well, shall we go to bed? I do indeed have a meeting tomorrow morning, six o'clock sharp, I'm sure. Then another by, eight but, I'll be sure to take you into town for some a treat,'' Hendrina said with a bright smile.
