Zack smiled and chuckled softly, gently putting her down onto her feet"It will be quite a surprise."

''Good,'' Hendrina said, smiling. ''Goodnight, Zackery,'' she said opening her door, and stepping inside. Taking one more glance at Zack before closing the door. Hendrina closed the door with a click, a smile still on her lips. Giggling, Hendrina sat on her bed, excited. She kicked off her heels, her mind thinking of all the possibilities that could happen during the ceremony.
-
Zack walked away with a smile on his face.
-
(Time skip to just before the ceremony?)
-
Yeah.)

People chattered, giggling and laughing in the ballroom with the soft violin and piano playing, the choir sang songs to entertain the folk. The woman was charmed by the noblemen, and Hendrina could only greet the guest as they came. Her hair tied into a braided bun, her bangs and front hairs pushed neatly into place, her long golden and navy blue dress fell to her ankles, her black heels strapped by her gold chain. Hendrina's mother and father had gone along to prepare the rest of the ceremony, in just moments Hendrina was to be announced queen as well as the man she'll be spending her entire life with.
''Madam Hendrina,'' Xavier, called his raven locks slicked back. ''You should dance with some of the men,'' He suggested. ''Or practice the speech, you have more important things to do,'' He hurried her along, as she protested. ''Xavier,'' Hendrina called but, at last, he ignored her. ''Fine, I'll be drinking a bit of champagne but, nothing else!'' Hendrina mumbled. Her hands fiddled with the infamous Hiria's necklace, the one worn by the First Queen. The crown up top her head was worn by the second. By the end of the night, she would be wearing her freshly made crown that was decored with rubies. Hendrina had remembered seeing her room who she'll be sharing with her fiance, it was plain but on the Queen's and King's floor.
Hendrina had found a servant holding a tray of champagne, holding the tray was Elliott. Smiling at the princess, he handed her a glass but, said nothing more. Pushing herself through the crowd, as they all huddled over to begin a traditional promising dance for good wealth and fortune for the next Queen in which has never occurred before. The tradition was announced by the First Queen but, after her defeat, no other Queen has been the birth-right child ever since. Taking a sip of the champagne, Hendrina stood aside watching them all dance and enjoy the time while she waited impatiently.
Her eyes were trained on the bright red curtains that hung on top the stage. There would be a podium, where she'll be first announced and then give her speech answering the guests' questions accordingly. Soon after, the Hiria's previous Queen, her mother will crown her as Queen with the Hiria's church members announcing she is free to marry any man as she wishes. With that the lights will dim, the torches will be lit and she'll burn a slip of paper with the name of the man she'll wish to marry to secure luck for a healthy marriage. The thoughts of all the responsibilities caused her to wish to drown herself in alcohol and have the event take another time. ''So much for a birthday,'' Hendrina said, feeling stressed about the entire event. -
Zack was still in his room as he looked himself in the mirror, his silver armor glinting under the light as his helmet was sitting on his bed.He then puts on his cape with a dark green inside and a silver outside as he smiled.Zack then pulled up the mask that covered his mouth and nose and grabbed his helmet and grabbing a golden box with the special ring inside. He puts the helmet on and hiding the ring in a sash with his elven symbol on it in golden letters before leaving.

Drinking her champagne, Hendrina glanced over at Samuel who stood along the wall. He came along a glass of wine in his hands. Samuel swirled the wine in his glass, leaning against the wall beside her. ''Not enjoying your ball?'' He questioned, raising his silver brow. ''I rather enjoy it once Prince Zackery is here,'' He snickered, at her comment. ''The elf? I'm surprised I would've suspected that Hiria and my family business would connect,'' It was Hendrina's turn to laugh. ''I'm allowed to marry whoever I love and I won't marry for business. Hiria is rich as it is, the civilians are struggling to gain riches, not I.'' He laughed, walking away with a smirk. ''Not before your mother became Queen,'' He mentioned, having Hendrina stiffen in nervousness. She tugged at her sleeves that overlapped her hand, in a triangular shape with gems decorating the golden hem.
-
Zack soon arrived at the entrance and sighs before walking inside.
-
''Prince Zackery,'' Xavier called, to the prince a smile on his lips. ''Princess Hendrina went to receive champagne, relaxing before she had to make her presence clear on stage. She's most likely near the walls,'' He mentioned, gesturing for him to go. ''The ceremony begins once the dance is over, I suppose you hurry,'' Xavier, gently pushed him along to go. Hendrina bit her bottom lip at his words, seeing the curtains opened and her mother standing by the podium. The was meant to carry on for a few moments with the music to stop first, then the singers. Hendrina clenched her toes in nervousness, taking a final sip of her champagne before placing it on a nearby table.
-
Zack walked over to Hendrina once he had spotted her.
-
''Zack,'' Hendrina said, taking a breath of relief. ''Goodness I'm so gl-'' Hendrina swallowed a lump in her throat as she heard her mother's booming voice. ''Ladies and gentlemen!'' She began, her eyes trained on Hendrina. Her hands shook, her palms were sweating. ''Well, will you excuse I have to hurry backstage,'' Hendrina gave him a soft smile, walking away to be prepared for the ceremony and her speech.
-
Zack watched her.

Once backstage, Hendrina listened to her mother ramble about legacy, and good wishes to the future as Hendrina, her daughter would carry on her with the best ideals to resolve the civil war. Once hearing her name, Hendrina came to the stage, front and center as the people applauded, chanting her name. Standing at the podium, she raised her hands to silence the crowd. Taking a deep breath, Hendrina cleared her throat and began speaking.
''People of Hiria, as you all know I am Princess Hendrina Martin, the heir to the throne. For I am now of age to inherit the throne, I shall provide good wealth to the people, to reduce poverty and the lower-class citizens, I will promise great accomplishment to this Kingdom. The civil war will not be our greatest threat, for with the humans' help by our side we shall be as we are known for, Hiria, the land of witches! We are powerful, we shall not fall victim to these rebellion scum,'' Hendrina felt her throat tightened as she spoke. ''Now, my people do you have any questions for I shall answer before becoming queen where what I say shall be decided whether it is for better or for worse,'' Hendrina said, the guest raising their hands for their questions to be answered. -
Zack looked around as he frowned.
