Zack's ears then started twitching and grinned,doing his best to make her laugh.

Hendrina glanced over to the prince a small chuckle coming from her. She allowed her fingers to brush against his ear and hair. ''Are you sure Elves aren't just the mature version of cats. You purr and twitch your ears.'' Hendrina laughed. ''Sorry.'' She said releasing a few chuckles.

Zack smiled and relaxed as his eyes closed."It's okay"He hummed out and relaxed more, almost falling asleep.

''If you say so,'' Hendrina whispered. Her brows furrowed in worry. Her thoughts were full of wars, and how the Hiria Empire will be affected by the upcoming civil war. She squeezed her hands with force to keep her minds from the upsetting sides of things. Silence remained in the garden as Hendrina's gaze fell upon the beautiful flowers.

Zack then started to hum a soft tune as he opened his eyes and looked at the flowers,smiling happily.

''Zack,'' Hendrina called breaking the comfortable silence. ''Can you tell me more about why you're here? It has just been on my mind recently.'' She said, her voice as low as a whisper. Hendrina let her eyes remain on the flowers but, rethought her statement. ''If you don't want to, you don't have to,'' Hendrina said a slight chuckle following after.

Zack stayed silent for a few minutes as he rubbed his neck."Well..."He started off as he looked down"I wanted to get to know you more and it seems that you would be at my side, whenever someone is provoking me..."He said softly and looked over at the flowers.

''I see,'' Hendrina chuckled. ''What do you think of me so far?'' Hendrina laughed. ''I don't think I'm always on your side.'' She said, standing. The maiden approached the flowers, her hands gracing the petals.

"You're nice,you're um beautiful and um.."Zack said softly and rubbed his neck, sheepishly.

''B-Beautiful,'' Hendrina repeated her gaze onto his form. Her cheeks flared pink as she cleared her throat. ''T-Thank you for the compliment Zack. You're quite handsome.'' She said, stuttering over her words.

"T-Thank you, Hendrina"Zack said as a faint blush appeared on his cheeks.

''You're welcome,'' Hendrina said her lips curving into a smile. She picked at the flowers, allowing their petals to tickle her hands. With a swift, movement a rose rested between her delicate fingers. The rose had quite the enchanting charm. The rose's petals danced within the wind with ease. With caution, Hendrina avoided the vengeful thorns. ''Isn't the rose beautiful, Zack?'' The maiden asked, approaching the prince.

Zack nodded his head as he stared at the rose,an amazed expression on his face"It is quite beautiful"He said, still staring at the rose.

Hendrina settled herself beside him and smiled. ''I adore roses.'' She mused. ''They're my favorite flower. If war does occur and I die in an attempt of having the humans rule once again, I will like someone to see my grave and place roses upon it.'' Hendrina hummed.

"I-I would do it for your request, Hendrina.."Zack said softly and looked down at the ground.
