Zack shook his head and had an emotionless expression on his face"Nothing happened, your Highness."He said softly"We may continue with the meeting". Derek nodded his head.
-
Hendrina glanced over to the prince. She allowed her hand brush against the prince. Her pinkie finger touched Zack's. Hendrina's cheeks tinted pink as she coughed into her hand. ''Don't look so upset, Zack,'' Hendrina whispered to him. Ares took a glance to the two and glared down at their hands. Anger and jealousy flinched over his face as he entered the study room.
-
Derek hummed before he walked back into the study.Zack smiled and nodded his head slightly and walked into the study room.
-
Hendrina settled herself on a green cushioned seat, squeezed between two large bookshelves. Queen Martin settled herself leaning against her desk. ''During the time of Princess Hendrina and Prince Zack, a letter was sent to the castle. The guards at the entrance claimed the messenger wore a red colored robe with the symbols from the first Hiria royal bloodline generation. The first royal bloodline was in charge of the Witch mass murders. The next generation concealed this mass murder event not to uprise fear.'' The Queen mentioned. ''The letter contained sensitive content though, what is most important is mentions of a civil war. Thoughts?'' Queen Martin said her voice firm.
-
"No thoughts, your Highness..."Zack said softly as he stood next to Princess Hendrina as he adverted his gaze to the floor.Derek leaned on a wall nearby Zack as he sighed.
-
''Princess Hendrina,'' Queen Martin called. ''You are to be the next queen, please tell us your thoughts.'' The Queen motioned to the small crowd. ''Patrolling officers take positions within the town's outskirts. We should keep an eye on the underground system for rebels who wish to seek shelter. The castle security should be taken a step further. I would have the Commander and General Kokinos take action on collecting as much information on possible surprise attacks. For all we may know, these rebels could have information on the humans. We cannot allow the people to know the history of humans are everything we created will crumble.'' Hendrina stated, her head held high.
Commander Kokinos cleared his throat as he took a stand. His hairs were smoothed back into a silk ponytail whilst his suit had his badges sprawled across his torso. ''Permission to speak, Queen Martin?'' Asked Mr. Kokinos. The Queen gave a stern nod as the commander smiled. ''I suggest raidings and executions of the most recent criminals. We must show that the high order has power unimaginable!'' He said, fist on his chest. ''With the Elven power with a good word from the Prince, this rebellion spirit will be put in its place. The years when the Princess was much younger the people feared her. She committed murders to disobeying civilians and the people followed the laws of Hiria. Fear is what drives this kingdom! We're witches, we live through the bad blood of humans, we must use it to our advantage. Now is the time to take a stand!'' Commander Kokinos exclaimed. ''Any disagreements or opposing thoughts?'' The Queen questioned to the people within the room. -
Zack had an emotionless expression on his face as his eyes glared at the floor, his body still and not moving. Many thoughts running threw his head, debating whether to speak or not.Derek stayed silent as he rubbed his neck.
-
''Since we do not have any objections, I'll format a plan to drive fear. The actual high order members will vote on whether this plan will be pressed on. During dinner time, I'll inform the Prince if we need his people's help. Prince Zack, you'll be hearing from me very soon. Princess Hendrina, Prince Zack you both are dismissed.'' The Queen announced. Ice cold blue irises were directed to the commander as Hendrina stood from her place. She glanced at the prince to see his expression and her heart broke. Anger boiled within the pit of her stomach. She felt ill and disgusted with herself. The murders she committed was of her mother's orders due to Hendrina's high belief that the humans can rule once again. In her current mental state, she was questioning her beliefs. ''Prince Zack, we should go to the garden. Wouldn't that be nice?'' Hendrina whispered to him.
-
Zack looked up at her and nodded his head and smiled a bit"It would be nice to visit the garden"He whispered back to her before walking out of the study room.Derek then left the study as went to help prepare dinner.
-
Hendrina followed close behind the prince. She closed the door with a soft click as chatter resumed in the study room. ''Zack,'' She called her heart racing. ''A-Are you upset? With what the commander said? All the men in the harem know. I wanted to tell you but, it was far different than telling a bunch of witches what your past must be like.'' Hendrina's voice was laced with hesitation. She could feel her stomach turn in fear. ''I-I don't know what to say,'' Hendrina whispered to herself, a chuckle escaping past her lips. ''Let's just head to the garden,'' She concluded. Her heels clicked against the marble flooring as her hands clung to her dress.
-
Zack kept walking before he stopped, rubbing his neck nervously."I kinda....forgot where the garden is.."He mumbled shyly,an embarrassed blush appearing on his cheeks.
-
Hendrina let out a small laugh before pointing in the direction they needed to go. ''Just follow me,'' Hendrina said with a smile. Her eyes shifted to his form releasing another laugh. The man before her seemed rather more emotional rather than a machine. She smiled and kept a close distance with the prince. ''Isn't too far. Is there anything on your mind, Zack?'' The princess questioned with a hum.
-
Zack blushed in embarrassment and shook his head as he followed her.
-
''Alright,'' Hendrina said as she walked down the path. The silence of their heels clicking on the floor tended to bother Hendrina. Her heart raced with conversation starters but, she kept her lips sealed. When the garden doors came to sight, the guards of two stood there chatting away. The grand doors opened once the princess approached them. The garden remained beautiful and had a special charm. Flowers of various colors swayed with the wind. Underneath the large tree was a bench for at the very least two people. A woman with silk hair had her eyes closed resting on some sort of bedding. Her hair was sprawled across her features whilst thorns surrounded her form. The white outlining of the woman caused the maiden to smile. ''After seeing the garden, my father decided to treat it with care. The garden hasn't been treated for years. Last time this tree was actually looked beautiful was when I was younger and first entered the castle.'' Hendrina mused.
-
Zack smiled brightly at the garden and hummed"It looks beautiful"
