Cherrywhisker took the cobwebs from Faddingshadow and wrapped them around the wound. "It's going to be okay, Riverclaw." Riverclaw looked toward a strange looking mound. "My kits!" She yowled. "They took my kits!!"

Faddingshadow snarled angrily

Cherrywhisker dashed over to the pile. There were four kits, soaked in blood. Three of them seemed to be dead. Cherrywhisker took them all in her teeth and placed them with their mother. She took the one kit that looked as though it could be saved and ran to the medicine den.

Faddingshadow stated in the nursery to make sure it was safe

There were many cats in the medicine den, but Bluefeather paid special attention to the kit. She took it from Cherrywhisker. Cherrywhisker ran outside to see more blood. She noticed Lionfang pinned down heavily by a Thunderclan cat. Cherrywhisker attacked, her claws ripping his pelt.

A shadow clan cat slipped in to the nursery but Faddingshadow clawed his face

The Thunderclan cat fled, leaving Cherrywhisker panting. All of a sudden, a blood curdling yowl came from the leader's den. Cherrywhisker an inside. Blood. So much blood. Sunstar lay lifeless at the feet of Fernheart, the deputy. At the back of the den, a Riverclan cat who Cherrywhisker recognised as Lightningpelt was standing, blood dripping from his open jaw.

Faddingshadow heard the yowl and he growled angrily

Cherrywhisker angrily launched herself at Lightningpelt. The Riverclan cat reacted quickly, scratching at Cherrywhisker's pelt.

Faddingshadow quickly scared off the shadow clan cat and ran to the leaders den to help

Lightningpelt pinned Cherrywhisker to the ground. He bit down above her right eye, causing blood to pour, blocking her vision.

Faddingshadow saw them and then tackled lightningvpelt off her
