"Would all cats old enough to catch their own pray please gather at the rock." The Windclan leader, Sunstar, stood at the top of the rock, her tail flicking. Cherrypaw squealed at Faddingpaw and made her way over to the gathering place.

Faddingpaw smiled and followed her

Cherrypaw sat. Her fur was puffed in excitement. "I would like to celebrate two apprentices becoming warriors!" Sunstar said, her eyes glinting with pride as she looked down at Cherrypaw and Faddingpaw. "Cherrypaw, Faddingpaw, if you would come up here please!"

Faddingpaw smiled as he did as Sunstar said

Cherrypaw sat beside Faddingpaw and Sunstar. She puffed out her chest as she looked down at her clan. "Do you both promise to be loyal and faithful to Windclan?" Cherrypaw nodded. "Yes Sunstar."

Faddingpaw smiled as he nodded "yes Sunstar" he meowed

"Then, by the power of Starclan, I pronounce you warriors. Cherrypaw, you are now known as Cherrywhisker." Cherrywhisker took a deep breath in. She loved how her new name faded into a whisper when anyone said it.

"And Faddingpaw," Sunstar turned to him. "You are now known as Faddingfoot." Cherrywhisker beamed.
