Cherrywhisker purred. She limped over to the high rock and called a meeting. Confusion amongst the cats was clear, but the didn't stop Cherrywhisker. "Our leader and deputy are both dead. We must follow the rules and choose a new leader and new deputy. We will then mourn the loss of warriors." Cherrywhisker limped back down, sighing as cats fought over who should lead the clan.

Faddingshadow looked at the bickering cats in faint annoyence

The clan suddenly fell silent, staring at Cherrywhisker and Faddingshadow. A few whispers bounced around before one warrior, Iceclaw, clambered atop the high rock.

Faddingshadow watchrd him

"We think Cherrywhisker and Faddingshadow should lead us" He meowed, addressing everyone.

Faddingshadow froze "what?

Cherrywhisker's eyes widened. Iceclaw continued. "Cherrywhisker and Faddingshadow showed incredible bravery and strength through the events of today, and we believe that they should lead our clan back to the top!"

Cherrywhisker turned to Faddingshadow. "If it's what the clan wants, who should be leader or deputy?" She asked. She really didn't mind which position she had, as long as she could do her clan proud.

Cherrywhisker nodded. There was no point arguing now, so she leapt upon the high rock. "I, Cherrywhisker, shall venture down to the Moonstones with Bluefeather and Faddingshadow at my side, to gain my nine luves and become Cherrystar, leader of Windclan!" The clan cheered.

Cherrywhisker leapt off the high rock and turned to Faddingshadow. "This leader business is NOT to get inbetween our friendship, you hear me?" She said light-heartedly. She bowled Faddingshadow over and began licking his cheek, purring happily
