Archaios hummed softly as he sat on the bench, making a set of talons out of animal bone and metal

Lan didn't come to the bench, for she was getting on the train.

Archaios looked around for her, starting to get a little worried. He sighed and got up before making his way to the orphanage to see if she was there

Lan wasn't there. Miss. P answered the door. "What do you want?" She asked crossly.

"is Lan here?" Archaios asked, tilting his head slightly to look up at the woman

"No, She's gone! Now go away!" She answered.

Archaios frowned but he turned and left

(I'm sorry! My crazy mom got us to drive through Quebec to look at leaves.)

(Yeah. I thought I'd be able to use my Ipad's internet but turns out I only can at school.)
For the next week still, Lan didn't come to the bench. -
Ten years later, Lan returned. But now she had a home at the place she worked. Now she had hidden her still deep love for books. Now she had grown to be the prettiest girl in town.
There was a big celebration to welcome her! It was held in the town square! Lan wondered if her old friend would arrive, when she realized he was now adopted into the royal army! He had been trained to become a Ninja. Lan walked over to greet him, nervous but curious as she always was around him. -

Archaios frowned slightly as he scanned the crowd that was around him, looking for the man he was supposed to be tracking. Supposedly he came by here everyday, but he hadn't seen him yet. He noticed someone approaching him and he turned his head slightly to look at the vagly familiar woman

It was hard to recognize Archaios in his mask. But when he turned she saw his strong brown eyes. She felt a strong feeling of fear, excitement, and most of all curiosity. She knew the brown eyes that looked as if they had pity for weak, spineless, everyday people belonged to Archaios.
"Hello! It's been a long time!" She greeted, gathering the courage to look in his eyes.
