Archaios chuckled softly and looked at the sky"fate moves in strange ways

"This is the place where we met... I was a coward then too... I was too afraid to even talk to you." She admitted.

Lan picked up her book and started reading again. She sometimes wished that life was like her books... Always having a happy ending... She laughed at her silly wish and continued to read.

Later she walked back home. She bumped into someone and had to hide her book falling out.

Meanwhile, Yuan got a letter. The request she made years ago to join the royal army was finally accepted! It was denied when she first made it, so she had to become a thief. But now the Queen had made it so that a girl may join if she's skilled enough! The letter said that she must report to training, for there will be an important mission in a Month.
Archaios was also handed a letter that summoned him to training for the royal army. -
Archaios sighed in annoyance and started walking

"Attention! Before we begin training today, I'd like to welcome the First female member of the Royal Army! Please welcome, Miz. Yuan Eclarai!!!" The Queen announced, welcoming Yuan. Yuan was wearing the same red mask she wore when she was thieving instead of the black mask that came with the uniform. "Did they fail to get you a mask?" The Queen asked. "No... I just like this one better." Yuan replied. The training began and Yuan proved to be more talented than most of the warriors there!!!

Archaios watched from the shadows, sharpening one of his daggers

"Now, there is another announcement. Three of you have been chosen to lead an expedition to take back land that was stolen from us. This is a very dangerous mission, and you'll most likely be gone for a year or more." The king announced after training. "The three leaders are: Yuan, Dai, and Archaios are the three leaders." He announced. Everyone cheered as the three were sent home. The journey would start in a week. "What if we don't want to?" Asked Yuan, thinking of her children. "If you say no, you will be disbanded from the Royal Army." The King answered.
