Of course, when Lan finally worked up the courage to ask, she was sent to her room. She expected that. It was silly for a girl to want adventure... She sighed and opened the window to let some air in. Then she sat at the mirror and brushed her hair.

Archaios jumped down on to the window ledge "let me guess, you got a no?

Lan nodded. "Yes. I'm needed here." She replied.

He crossed his arms "well, do you still want to go?

"I don't know..." She mumbled. She weighed out the pros and cons in her head.
Pros: Adventure, being with Archaios, seeing new sights.
Cons: breaking rules, perhaps death/possible injury, then her cowardness ruining the mission... That last one was the biggest.
"How important is the mission?" She asked. -
Archaios shrugged"depends on who You ask

"So it's not a life or death matter of any sort?" So that lowered the cons down to breaking rules... so maybe she could. While she thought, Yuan joined out the window. "Since when are we allowed to bring people?" She asked.

"I do! I care about rules! I'm a girl! So one mess up and out of the Army I go! Anyways... Are you breaking a rule?" She asked. She liked looking like a stubborn, annoying girl. But Yuan was really asking so she could know if she was allowed to bring her children.

Archaios just smirked at her "what are rules?" He said carelessly"everybody in the army knows I can kill then easily, so I do what I want.
