Soon, another man asked Lan to dance. She had no choice to accept because of her job. She bowed goodbye to Archaios and joined the strange man.

Archaios sighed in annoyance and he sat down at a table

Soon the man who got Lan to dance with him got so drunk he fell asleep. She walked back to Archaios and sat beside him. "Sorry... I have to do my job." She sighed, tired from the eventful day. She yawned and rested on his arm, too tired to be afraid.

Archaios smiled and wrapped an arm around her

"How are you so brave?" Lan asked, closing her eyes. "I can only be brave when I'm distracted." She added between yawns.

Archaios shrugged"I just focus on what needs to be done, and ignore everything else.

Lan looked up at him. "What do you ignore?" She asked.
