Archaios leaned on a wall, watching Lan

Lan watched the pretty girl talk to Archaios. She didn't know it was the thief because she had worn a red mask when robbing. She watched the pretty girl with concern as she flirted with Archaios, then relaxed when the girl walked away disappointed.
She watched Archaios until it was time for her to dance again. She sighed and wasn't very comfortable, but nethertheless she danced the way they told her. Finally she was allowed to stop dancing and she was told to talk to people. So she walked over to Archaios. -
Archaios smiled at her and moved away the wall, walking over to her

"Hi! Who was that girl?" Lan asked.

"the thief from earlier" he said with a shrug

"Really?" Lan asked. She decided to change the subject. "So what do you do at your job?" She asked.

He shrugged "assassinations mostly

"Oh..." Lan replied, feeling her usual fear. She wished she wasn't such a coward.

"Do... You want to dance?" Lan asked nervously.

He blinked"only if you don't mind

"I don't..." They danced for awhile until Lan sighed. "I wish I wasn't a coward." She sighed as they danced.

Archaios smiled at her "I don't think your a coward

"I am though... I'm too scared to follow the rules of my life... I'm too scared to break them..." She sighed. "I can't tell up or down because I'm blinded by fear."

"so? Everyone is afraid of something, that doesn't mean your a coward."

Lan smiled. "I guess..." She sighed. "Maybe I have a fear of rules..." She laughed.
