Fogtail sighed and reluctantly followed. Stupid traditions.... -

violetstar took to chatting with wrenstar while the gathering ensued. eventually sunstar bounded up onto the rock and started the leaders. violetstar told about the new medicine apprentice and the new litter of kits. wrenstar and dawnstar had border trouble with rogues and sunstar said nothing. afterwards the gathering dispersed. -
Fogtail was waiting silently, staring up at the moon with a sad smile.

brightfire Newbie"you ok, foggy?" violetstar mewed behind her.

Fogtail jumped but nodded, regaining her composure. "He's, I'm fine, Vi..."

brightfire Newbievioletstar nodded and led her out. "lets go home." she meowed.

Fogtail nodded and padded lightly after her, head down.

brightfire Newbie"your not fine, foggy." violetstar had sternness in her meow.

"I was just thinking, that's all." Really, she was thinking about having kits herself, even if she didn't feel anything for the tom...

brightfire Newbievioletstar read the look in her eyes. "you were thinking. more like daydreaming. come along, then." with that she trotted off.

a few moons later, violetstar was curled around her only kit, snowkit. (just a white tabby ;W;) -
Fogtail sat in her nest, deep in thought. She was pleasantly surprised about Frostpaw's progress... she stood and slowly strode to Violetstar, her head hung low.

brightfire Newbiesnowkit popped his tiny head up. "momma! fogtails here!" he squealed. he always liked the medicine cat. violetstar groaned and opened one eye, just halfway, to peek. "hello, fogtail. do you need anything?" she mewed, trying to keep her kit from bouncing onto fogtail.

"Yes... I think it's time," She replied, referring to Frostpaw taking her place. He had finished his apprenticeship so quickly and had done amazingly.

brightfire Newbiefrostpaw was standing outside and couldn't supress a squeal. snowkit toppled over to him and looked up, excited. "yay! you two get to be medicine cats!"
violetstar nodded and gave her approval to travel to moonstone to get his medicine cat name. when they had gotten there, frostpaw woke up excited. "i'm frostheart now!" he meowed. -
"I'm glad! Let's get going, okay-" She was cut off as a rather large tom tackled her with a yowl, sending her rolling. "Frostheart, go!"
