snowstorm Novicevioletdawn let out a mournful mew before burrowing her face in darkstars fur. (darkstars her aunt ;W;) she shoved the dead cat onto her back before walking back to camp, the rest of the patrol following. her good mood had diminished. after they had buried darkstar, violetdawn nodded solemnly to fogtail, indicating it was time to go to the moonstone.

Fogtail looked down and nodded slightly. She hated this. Her closest friends were passing one after another....

snowstorm Novicevioletdawn didn't bother to make conversation as she walked over the moor to the cave. as the moon poured onto the quartz, she lay down and pressed her nose to it. she fell asleep and awoke in the clearing. (gonna list these off)

violetdawn-no, violetstar- woke up from the sunlight streaming onto her face. she stretched and saw her reflection- the only thing that changed was the white star on her forehead. she nodded. "lets go." -
Fogtail nodded slightly, "As you wish." She led the way, her head held high.

snowstorm Novicevioletstar's eyes had both sorrow, pride, and mournfulness in her eyes before she trotted back. she disappeared behind the lichen on top of the high-rock, overgrown with berries and flowers. she settled down and fell asleep, only to awake with a terrible ache in her stomach. she called for fogtail and explained the wierd sensation in her stomach.
(either she has a bellyache or shes expecting kits from her previous mate, who died. if she is, thats gonna add some drama. you decide! XD) -
Fogtail blinked and purred awkwardly, "It seems you've got Kits, Violetstar. Congrats." She honestly hated it, since it meant Vi would always be too busy to possibly mate with her, but...

snowstorm Novicevioletstar blinked. "run that by me again." she wasn't sure if she was super happy, super mournful as she wanted to be fogtails mate (i mean, if medicine cats have decent training, they can switch to warrior if they have another medicine cat!) or confused. she was all.

"You're having Kits, Vi," Fogtail repeated, sitting next to her.

snowstorm Novice"b-but i wanted to be mates with you!" she blurted. too late. she put a paw to her muzzle and the grief faded for just a second. "uh.. whoops?"

Fogtail blinked and looked down, "I wish it could be, Vi... I really do..."

snowstorm Novicevioletstar scrawled something in the dirt before leaving and laying down by the stream, relaxing with the breeze ruffling her fur.

Fogtail read the message and blinked before hanging her head and walking to the medicine den.

violetstar had arranged that one of her close friends, sharpheart, to be deputy. violetstar, in turn, curled up in her soft moss bed and went to sleep, purring. -
Fogtail diligently manned the medicine den, having become a bit of a recluse.

snowstorm Novicevioletstar noticed this and trotted after her. "frostkit wishes to be apprenticed to you." she mewed softly. "today they will be apprenticed. do you accept?" the truth was, she just wanted to comfort the siamese; instead she had brought up a "important" topic.
