Fogtail nodded, a bit distant, "I accept. I'm glad a kit wishes to take my place when I die."

snowstorm Novicevioletstar winced slightly at the last word but leapt onto highrock with some difficulty, as her belly was beginning to swell. she called the meeting and looked- quite happily- at the frosty gray tom beaming with excitement. after frostkit accepted the position with a squeal of joy, she appointed him frostpaw and called the meeting to end.

Fogtail waited impatiently, her head held high. "Come now, Frostpaw. There's much to do."

snowstorm Novicethe tom nodded and trotted after her before violetstar drew fogtail to a secluded area. "are you ok, fogtail?" she asked quietly, sighing.

Fogtail nodded, "Of course I am. If you'll excuse me, I have an apprentice to train."

snowstorm Novicevioletstar flashed out her tail to block her, her green eyes slightly clouded over. she sighed and shut her eyes for a moment. "i know you better than that, fogtail."

Fogtail growled lowly, "Don't you have better things to do than question me for no reason?" She hissed, moody.

snowstorm Novicevioletstar looked especially hurt and turned away, getting up and mumbling something before walking into her den.

Fogtail made her way to the medicine den, grumpily training her new apprentice.

brightfire Newbievioletstar stretched and trotted over to the stream, catching the occasional fish, though she mainly sat in the shallow water.

As soon as the day was done, Fogtail curled up in her nest, not eating.

brightfire Newbievioletstar dropped her off a chaffinch and went on her duties.

Fogtail closed her eyes to sleep, sighing slightly.

brightfire Newbiebefore she left violetstar flicked her tail over fogtail's shoulders, then trotted out to sleep in her den.

Fogtail opened her eyes, a bit confused as she lifted her head before placing it back down.
