I say experienced but I'm okay with you so long as there aren't too many one-liners, and the reason for doing so is valid (for instance, you're just waiting for something, like a friend to come back from a journey or something, and it wasn't specified what "could be done" in that time...)
Basically try not to have one-liners but I won't kill you if you do so long as it isn't too many, and please try to come up with a unique and preferably detailed character.
Plot/Setting/Time
This seems to be the end. Our planet is dying. Crops are failing, dust storms rage through the huge cities man has built. People are dying everywhere, global warming has gotten bad enough that the polar ice caps are almost gone, raising the sea levels enough to flood most previously-coastal cities. For example, a city once called New York may as well be renaned "Flooded Venice" Since the original is deep underwater. The sky is so crowded with dead satellites it looks like there are 5 times as many stars at sunset, all moving too fast to be stars. Most electricity has gone out besides a few places, money may as well be dirt, and many areas, due to the dryness of the land, have caught fire, burning whole cities and forests to the ground.
How can a small group of friends, who remember the way the world is supposed to be, survive in this place they once called home, now completely different? That...That is what is to be found out.
I'll do my character sheet later, I seriously need to get some sleep. Post asking to join if you've read all through this madness XD -

Name: Rayden [Ray for short] "Helious" Lancaster
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 6' 1"
Looks:
Very dark brown, longish (about to the collar, covering a little ear) hair, Cyan-blue eyes, paleish skin but not too pale, not chubby but not skinny either
Wears:
Depends on mood, but usually a thick black T-shirt, dark blue jeans, red and blue hat and moderately dark sunglasses, like most people of the time, and a thick leather jacket/vest with inside pockets.
Personality:
Brave but cautious, in that he will do things that are considered brave but only after making sure of the situation being what it seems to be. He is also one that is a bit emotional especially with closer people and about them, but that's manly because it's hard to become close to him, so those who do are special. He is anything but pretentious, as he sees things as they are, not a watered down version (another reason he's a bit emotional)
He is, however, a bit quick tempered (not too much though) and it's easy to get under his skin. -

Name: Leonard [Leo for short] Allen Lane
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Height: 5'5''
Looks: Leo has short, spiked black hair and green eyes. Average skin tone, not too pale, not too dark. Slightly muscular
Wears: Dark blue jeans, black shoes, white t-shirt, grey zip up hoodie (usually not zipped though), and a black leather jacket.
Personality: Leo is calm at times, but can be very hot tempered. He is always putting others before himself, and will (would) do anything for his friends. He is also never afraid to make someone laugh.
Other info (if important): Though he is slightly muscular, Leo is not that strong. He can lift his body weight (120 lbs) and a little bit more. He can fight however, due to his martial arts training, which he has been doing ever since age 8. -
Name: Christopher [Chris for short] Samuel Walters
Age: 18
Gender: male
Height: 5'7"
Looks: Chris has medium lenght, dark brown straight hair reaching just to his neck and light brown eyes. He has a tannish skin tone, but its not really dark. He has a rather average build and is somewhat muscular.
Wears: Usually a pair of black pants, and white shoes. He has a white buttonup shirt, and a black vest over the shirt. On top of his head usually tests a greyish fedora. And he wears metal framed glasses.
Personality: He is mostly calm and has, at times, a serious attitude. He tries to do what is best for the others, in most situations. He is a bit Good at keeping his temper down and letting things go by if it involves him, choosing not to yell but to speak in a calm tone for some situations, unless he needs to her his point across. But, he tries to avoid conflict with people. -
Name: Gareth [Gareth for short] Jeremy Sullivan
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 5"8
Looks: Dirty blonde hair, usually keeps it short, no longer than about two inches in length. Rather chapped lips. Skin is rather tan from being out in the sun. Ocean green eyes. Lean and lanky
Wears: More often then not wears faded olive green t-shirts, dark grey-blue jeans with perpetually inside out pockets and torn up at the cuffs. Classic vans. Not a big fan of hats in general.
Personality: Seems laid back and comfortable with the situation at hand. Internally, he's constantly freaking out. Would much rather follow than lead, and is indecisive as hell. Constantly loosing it.

Gender: Female
Height: 5"5
Looks: Dark black hair, reaching to the middle of her back, usually having it up in an hair elastic, slightly tanned skin, dark eyes just with golden flecks in the Iris, chapped lips of hell, slight muscles in her arms and legs, but still remaining on the lanky sort.
Wears: Usually depending on the mood, faded navy blue T-shirts, along with the cuffs fraying at the edges, a pair of black jeans, and a pair of antique Converse that are almost as old as her.
Personality: Alby is stubborn still the end, and has a poker face better than any other man can give. Has a short fuse every once in a while, will to anything to save her friends. -
