(When are we going to start? :3)
-
No idea xP))
-
Bump...We don't really need an order so long as none of us decide to take a week's break. Also, we can start whenever, everything's pretty much in place.
-
-
Are we ever going to do this?
-
I don't know. I'm ready whenever.
-
I've been ready. Just not to keen on starting first.
-
I'm okay with anyone starting first, it really doesn't matter, but I guess I will just for non-confusion's sake.
Ray had woken up from the happiest dream--He could barely remember it but he knew that the world was fixed and his family and the few friends he had were safe. Yet another dream, he thought, of a time he'd never see. He lay awake there in his small, cramped room for a few minutes before getting up with a deep cough: too much dust in the air. He put on his boots, lacing them up tight enough to almost hurt, and put on his sunglasses before going outside to see the other (few, I might add) ppeople in their camp. Today was moving day. -
Alby retched, until what was left of her meager dinner, lay on the ground just inches away from where she sleeps. It did not put Alby into a panic, sleep didn't come easy to her as the others. Yes she had slight....What's the word? Alby questioned herself in her mind. Dreams seem so trite as of late......hazes? They weren't exactly dreams, but then again they weren't quite hazes either. Alby checked the time, silently cursing herself as she laced her Converse up, she knew her ass would be handed to her for this.

Leonard couldn't sleep. Too many gnats in his bunk. He hated bugs, especially gnats. They were too small and annoying, and constantly bothered him. Leonard, or Leo as his friends called him had been at this camp for way too long. But today was moving day, and Leo couldn't've been happier. He go a head start, packing the few things he had left, and walked outside, bumping into Ray. "Today's the day." He said, with a smile on his face.
-
"Yup, sure is" Ray said, "And I'm glad, too. Tired of sitting here in this trash dump of a city, it's depressing....Like the rest of the world..." he trailed off, getting a flicker of his dream.
-
Leo's smile faded. "Yeah." He looked at the flagpole, the flag flapping in the wind. He had a flashback. To a time before all.....this happened. Leo was 9. He was with his family at a camp similar to this. He remembers playing catch, and his dad throwing a baseball to him and him leaving to get it. The next thing he knew, there was a violent wind. Dust was everywhere. He remembered his dad telling him to run inside, and he did. When the winds finally stopped, he ran back outside to destruction. His family was gone. Mom, Dad, his brother, his older sister, all gone. A nine year boy fell to his knees, crying, looking up at the tattered flag.
Leo turned away from the flagpole. After a period of silence, he asked "When do we leave anyway?" -
Gareth was sitting outside at the camp, legs crossed and leaning back, staring at the sky. His eyes were barely open, and his jaw was slack. He then jolted awake, after almost falling backwards. He was finding it harder to sleep as the days passed. He was still mostly functional, so it didn't bother him. Gareth got up, and dusted off his pants. He didn't have anything to pack, but he needed to stretch his legs.
-
"We'll leave as soon as everyone's ready, but from the looks of it almost no one's even started packing or anything, so it'll probably be after High Sun [noon]...we'll be traveling in the dark, unfortunately, if we want to get anywhere today. Not unless these people speed up a tiny bit...okay maybe more than a little." Ray said with a matter-o-fact attitude
-
"I'm all ready to go." Leo said, showing Ray his bag. "Maybe we could eat while we wait for the others? After all, we haven't eaten in awhile."
Leo said, setting down his bag.
