"I'm okay" Ray said in a sigh-like tone, "Yesterday's lunch is still holding me up, and we don't have a lot of food to go around, I don't want anyone else going hungry because I'm just bored, aha...But its good that you're already packed. I'm almost done but there are some things I only want to put away at the last minute..." Trailing off with that last sentence, Ray started thinking of the things that kept him going, the things that reminded him of better times, like the picture of his whole family all together and happy that lay beside his matress of a bed, or the unused keychain his long-gone best friend had given him as a kid...Still not knowing why, but he shook off that thought chain for later when they left.

Christopher groaned slightly as he sat up from where he was at, laying down on the floor. Staring up to the sky as his eyes peeled open slowly and adjusted after his little nap he had. Dreams of nothing he could remember. All changed. He sighed to himself shaking his head a bit to try to adjust slowly coming up to his feet to stand.

Alby threw her bag onto her shoulder, and put her hand on the door. Silently questioning herself if she really wanted another memory of the outside. Of one of the best things that's happened to her, and one of the worst. Ably remembered the way how everything formed into visibility. How the wind grew violent. How the dust materialized. How the people disappeared. She watched it happen. But made no attempt to help. For the first time in forever, Alby was scared. Worse than everything before. Ably felt her face, fingers touched a tear that escaped her eye. Alby closed her eyes for a moment, counting to ten, and reopened them. The tears left, so did the memory. Nothing else was here except for the present And the door. Alby opened the door, and the let the light envelope her.

Gareth decided to walk around the perimeter of the camp, and enjoyed what little there was to be from the day. He didn't mind the weather that much, though he would like to breath without it feeling like he would choke, or that it...
He shook his head. The past was exactly what you would think would be, in the past. He preferred not to think about that day as much as he could afford- which was not easy- especially with the current natural disasters happening. Gareth continued with his walk, moving forward. -
Leo snapped his fingers in Ray's face. "You still here? Hellllooooooooo?" He knew what Ray was thinking. He thought about his family too. Leo was a strong person, didn't dwell in the past too much. Or tried not to, at least. Sometimes it was too hard to escape it. "Should we go see if the others are ready?" Leo asked Ray, hoping for a response.

"I guess, sure" Ray said lightly and quietly, almost in a whisper. "I'm sorry" He said in a louder tone, pulling out of that state of mind, "I shouldn't be worried about my stuff right now, lets go."

Nadine woke up lying on the ground. All she remembered was being dropped off her like a sack of potatoes and told to go to some camp. "This is a waste of my time." she said, taking a deep inhale. She looked down at her clothes and smiled. At least she wasn't wearing the high heels that she had on previously. Those killed her feet and were a pain to walk in, but the tennis shoes she had on now, were so comfortable. -
