"Was i pretty?" She asked.

Kate looked at him sadly. "Well, whatever happened then isn't real. Look: see? I'm here!" She sat up, wincing a little at her leg, and touched his cheek with her nose. "If it makes you feel better, I had a cute dream about you," she purred.

Shadow blinked and looked at her

Kate nodded. "It's true."

Kate blinked at him and laid down again. She sprawled out on the floor, and and sighed, honestly im pain.

Kate kept staring at the darkest place of the cave, day dreaming about a life without her bad leg and a world without hunters. "What would life be like," she said aloud, "if hunters wern't here?"

Shadow frowned

Kate's bad leg twitched in pain, as Kate hissed silently. She pulled some leaves towards her and pushed them onto her leg. "I think we would be free," Kate answered. "Maybe."

Kate sighed and limped over to piece of paper and pen. She started to write.
