Kate blushed more and stayed silent. She kept her paws around his neck to help him carry her, but she put her head down.
When they got to the cave and Shadow put her down, she walked over to a price of paper and turned to her human form. She started to write and hummed softly. -
Shadow sat down by the fite

"My leg is still hurting, but today, I cannt belive it but Shadiw called me 'pretty'. I've been called a freak and ugly from the town i once lived in, so this is really new to me. I've made a new dress with some of the wool, but I'm goin to wear it near the full moon. Sadly, right now I'm hungry, and I need to eat a rabbit. END OF JOURNAL 3" the paper said. Kate turned to cat form, got out a rabbit, and ste in in a few bites. She yawned and stretched out. She laid down on a blanket and fell asleep, not knowin she left the paper that Shadow was able to see.

Shadow looked at the paper for a moment, debating weather or not he should read it

Kate, unknowingly, share he'd out across the blanket. In her dreams, there was a huge Berry batch, and she was picking Berry galore.

Kate purred in her dreams.
Dream:
Kate purred as Kajo, he long lost best friend, curled his tail around hers. She knew he was dead in the real world, but she didn't care. "Nucha," he whispered in her ear. Nucha, in Juno language, means "love". Kate smiled at him and licked his cheek. "I've missed you," Kate said. "Nuca noj sia." " i also love you " -
Kate opened her eyes and sighed. Kajo was dead. She had to live with that. She looked over at Shadow. 'At least I have him,' she smiled.

Kate didn't notice Shadow had woken up. "Yojy con mentoy," " i miss Kajo " Kate licked her paw. "Goe sia toy mentio." " but I love another now "

Kate stopped talking in Juno and smiled. "Kajo was nothing like Shadow," she promised herself. "Kajo almost went bad. He was almost evil. Then he was killed."
