"H-Hey! I-It's not f-funny!" Kate blushed and bit at the bramble stick attached to her hip. "Grrr... Shadow! Help!!!"

Shadow chuckled and pulled it off

"Ow..." Kate groaned. She flopped on the floor. "Help, save me! I'm helpless! And my but hurts!"

He rolled his eyes

"Shaaaadow, HeLp!" Kate rolled on her back, paws in the air.

Kate laughed. "Ahahah! Hey! That tickles!"

He chuckled softly

Kate sparng up and landed square on her belly. "Umph!" She scrambled up.

He rolled his eyes

Then she closed her eyes. After 1 minute, she opened her eyes, a new kind of sadness and seriousness no one could pass up. She sat, tail rapped around her paws.

Kate bounced up and nuzzled Shadow's ear. -
