Kate purred. "About me picking berries?"

"Shadow," she said.

He nodded

Kate purred. "Okay," she said, "then why don't you help me? Well, really, I'm finished now..." Kate started to limp back home, wincing painfully.

Shadow picked her up

Kate looked confused at Shadow. "Mwuh?" She muttered. "Shadow? I-I..." She blushed a little at him and put her paws around his neck, her forehead touching his chin as she made it easier to carry her. Kate closed her eyes, not going to sleep.

Shadow blushed and started walking

Kate opened her eyes and saw leaves falling from the trees. "It's so pretty," she muttered.

Kate smiled and closed he eyes agian.

Kate's fur flowed along as the wind blew. Her dark brown fur shine against the sun as her fluffy tail curled around her paws.

Shadow smiled "yeah.....and so are you" he said softly

Kate opened her eyes widely and blushed. "I-I'm p-p-pretty?" She stuttered.

She blinked and closed her mouth. 'He said I'm....pretty,' she thought.
