Efi followed quickly, not liking this. She had insisted they didn't come, hadn't she? Now she had to traipse through the wilderness in search of life, wherever the hell they were.
She didn't notice the pine straw, or maybe it was her subconscious trying to reason with itself. Whatever the case, she didn't notice.

Life ended up not getting much to eat, and was starting back to the library, skipping slightly with each step. Maybe it wasn't actually skipping, though. He was just extremely light and the air liked him. -

Randlee humed quietly as they walked, noticing the pine straw almost on instinct. Sure, it surprised him, but so did this place all together. He said nothing about it and followed the group. He hated being the odd one out, and he wasent going to do so by mentioning the odd pine straw like stuff on the ground.

Little Red finally made it to the parlor. She smirked when she saw there was almost no one there to bother her, but was also a bit dissapointed when she saw there was no one to bother her. She ended up just grabbing an apple and leaving almost as quickly as she entered. -

Adrianna pouted a bit as she realized no one was going to respond to her. She stomped behind Randlee, not saying anything at all. Though, she was interesting in the pine straw on the ground. She kicked it off to the side, walked a bit of ways up, and saw that it went back to where it had been. Her eyes lit up. Instead of following the group, she started playing with it, kicking it back and forth and watching it move back. She wondered if they were just magnets disguised as lousy old pine straw. Though, when she looked up, she noticed that most of the group was way further ahead. She stopped playing around and jogged after them, wondering whether or not to point out the pine straw.
Damien hadn't thought ahead about where he would go after he left. He could go home, but he really had nothing to do there. No, he had nothing to do anywhere. He should have stayed and gone to the parlor. Eating was something. Though, he was already so far out that he was sure no one would miss him. Instead, he decided to take a walk in the direction of the nearby lake. -
