Little Red is gonna be all up in him

(And here we go.)
Charlie was in love with the camp ground they were at. Not a lot of people, deep water, but a low snake count. No dangerous wildlife. Now, he was supposed to be starting the fire while the other's changed into their swim stuff, but, in a spurt of excitement, he decided that he wanted to be the first one in the water. So, the group agreed that the fire would be lit after they swam, and Charlie led them to the end of the dock, climbing up onto the railing, even though it was against the rules. He'd always been a bit of a girl for thrills. "Watch this," He hummed, before flipping off backward, into the water. Once under the surface, he twisted, swimming down. He planned to grab a rock or something to take up and show them that he touched the bottom. However, the bottom seemed.. Really far away.
Feeling a familiar strain on his lungs, he turned his attention up, where he could still, faintly, see the moonlight on the water. He kicked his feet, and found that he wasn't moving. A wave of panic swept over him, and he tried again. No, he seemed to be being pulled down, much quicker than he would have imagined possible. It was like current. Like from the ocean, but, this was a lake. How was that even possible?
That was the last thought in his head before he blacked out.
Rai really did love his queen. But, oh, he did hate meetings like these. Foolish ones where she suggested movements in the war that were least likely to get her people killed. Rai wanted to badly to inform her that there was no way to avoid casualties in a battle like this, but he didn't want to risk upsetting her. The lady was only trying to keep her kingdom safe.
However, Rai did not like the list of people she was putting in command of her forces. Elves and wind spirits and little girls that would have no clue what they were doing. Still, he didn't wish to upset her, so he kept his mouth shut. -
Efi adjusted her hat as the wind tried to take it away. She was secretly excited to swim again, as it had been a while, and she hadn't quit the swim team because she wanted to. But that was another story.
She rolled her eyes at Charlie's antics. The dweeb. She called him a noob, her go to insult that everyone expected. Hey. She never claimed to be creative.
She proceeded to lean on the railing, trying to act cool while letting the others get in first. They was no way she was going to show her enthusiasm for anything nature related.
-
Life was beyond confused. That morning the queen had come to see him, requesting his presence at a meeting that night. He had been in the process of mending a book, and had stabbed his finger with a needle at her sudden appearance.
He, in all honestly, hadn't even known she knew she had a library. Since the day he took over his mother's position, she hadn't ever bothered to visit, at least to his knowledge.
But there she had been, strutting in, asking him to attend a war meeting.
A war meeting.
It was all pure insanity. -
Randlee glanced down at the water, raising his eyebrows. He had never really had a great love for swimming, but wanted to do whatever the rest of the group was doing. Deciding Charlie was taking too long to surface, Randlee dived into the water head first. He had forgotten to hold his nose, and cold water shot up his nose. He groaned, trying to swim back up and get rid of the burning in his nose, but he couldn't seem to swim up. It felt like he was going down instead of up. This greatly confused him as he had always considered himself an okay swimmer comparred to others. He kicked and yelled under the water, but no one can hear you when you're basically drowning. He screamed one last time, giving one last small effort, before everything around him became pure darkness.
Little Red was not paying attention to the meeting at all. Instead, she was looking around, twirling a long piece of dark hair around her finger. She was looking for someone she could have fun with after the meeting, someone willing. As she eyed the others at the table, it was hard for her to spot out someone like that immediantly. -
Adrianna, of course, was planning on jumping in after the guys did. She, unlike all of the others, wasn't particularly in love with the water. So she had stood beside Efi, sitting on the rails, watching both Charlie jump in and then later Randlee. At first, she had giggled at Charlie, who clearly thought he was being amazing. Then she watched Randlee jump in. She cheered him on as well. But it wasn't too long before she realized neither of them were coming up. It had been minutes since either of the boys had been there, and she didn't know if Efi had noticed. "Hey, I'll.. Be right back, okay?"
Like any normal girl, the redhead slid off of the railing and fell into the water. Though Adrianna could have sworn she hadn't gone into the water too deep, she noticed that the surface was starting to get farther and farther from her point of view. She kicked her feet, flailed her arms, tried everything she could, but nothing actually worked. She wondered if she was just that bad at swimming. That was the last thought that hit her mind before she inhaled an insane amount of water, started to choke on it, and then found herself passing out.
Damien knew that he was up for a boring time as soon as the Queen came to him asking for him to join her little meeting. No, she hadn't asked, she had told him to. And so he had, not willing to break it to her that he really wasn't one for meetings.
However, his interest peeked when he found out it was about the war. He quickly slammed his feet onto the table, leaning back in and thinking intently while others listened to her rambles. While the idea of her whining about having a war with "no casualties" upset him, Damien wanted to think of ideas for her. Anything that could get him out of the fake fighting and into the real deal. -
Night1001 Newbie(I'm the Jokester k)
(Will have to go very soon btw)
Nick fiddled with his nails with an impromptu nail filer, continuously grating the small wooden thing against the rather disleveled hard cap of his index finger. Some might call it effeminate but a man can never be shady about his outward appearance. The occasional dancing shadows of his friends cast upon the thick brown tarp of the hexagonal tent threatened to break his attention, but he was far too narcissistic to care for such... Hyper activities.
Ironically however, he absolutely loved to swim. On the flipside, he was a major insectophobic and truly feared anything that even looked remotely similar to such a hideous form. He was slightly scared to go into the water for he was fearful that some slimy, prickly insectoid would climb upon his leg and sneak into his boxer-like swimming trousers. He let off a visible shiver with the revolting thought. -
Night1001 Newbie(s---e, peace. I am handing Nick over to host (Dark you dumb---) for the night until I get on sometime tomorrow.)

Night1001 Newbie(To clear this up, Dark22978 has full control over my character, Nick Lee Silverman, until I rejoin this somewhere between the afternoon and evening, in Eastern Time, tomorrow. Or whenever I get back on.)

It seemed that the amount of time it took for Charlie to open his eyes was somewhere between a few seconds, and several years. The first thing he noticed was the pain in his lungs, and he coughed, choked, and then rolled onto his side, spitting up water. The second thing he noticed- The sun was out. But, more importantly, three girls were watching him from a rock. He wondered why they hadn't came to help him. He also wondered where he was. This place certainly wasn't the lake he had been at.
Charlie tried to stand, and found himself rocking backwards on his feet, before face-planting into it. Yup, he couldn't stand.
And then he noticed the sand-covered bodies beside him. It took him a moment, but he realized they were Randlee and Dria.
Rai couldn't listen for a moment longer. "My queen, forgive me, but.. There really is hardly a way to avoid the loss of innocents. There are ways we can keep the numbers down, but there is no way to avoid it completely. I suggest the defense first strategy, though. Protect the boarders of our lands, where the.. Uh, demons are coming at us from. Put the strongest ones on the center. Like this," He muttered, moving the pawns on the board. -
Efi finally began to get worries.
"Nick!" She yelled, hoping to get his attention. Then, without bothering to explain to him what was happening, she took off her hat and set it on the dock, before leaping inside the water, swimming downward in an attempt to find them.
Of course, after about a minute she needed air, so she began trying to swim upward. But...something wouldn't let her. She panicked, and tried to scream. A dumb move, but still.
Anyway, it all just faded to black.
-
Life blinked when Rai chipped in. He sighed at his suggestion. In all honesty, he'd been hoping that they actually would find a no casualty solution, however silly that sounded. -
-
After what had seemed like forever, Randlee woke up, spitting water and covered in hot sand. After a few moments of attempting to get all the water out of his lungs, he glanced up at the others who had made it to shore as well. Then he noticed the three girls, sitting on a rock and staring. He opened his mouth to say something to them, but just ended up in a coughing fit trying to speak.
~~
Little Red continued to twirl the lock of dark hair around her finger as she tuned out the suggestions from others. This was all so boring to her. All ahe really wanted to do was get laid and do some real, tough fighting. Was that too much a girl stuck sixteen forever to ask for? -
(Wait, since Asshat (Joker) gave me possession of his character, do you want me to post as Nick? Or should we pretend like Nick did something and managed to joined the group?)
-
(You post as Nick, I suppose.)
-
(I can see Nick washing up on top of Adrianna and Adrianna just kinda screaming "JESUS!" and Nick retorting "Nope, no Jesus here, just me.")
Adrianna couldn't wake up. No, it wasn't that she couldn't, it was just that her body didn't want her to. She was a deep sleeper, and after passing out in that traumatic way, she couldn't will herself to wake up. Though, the earth beside her shook, and it caused her to turn- right into the sand. Her face was buried slightly in the sand. Her nose twitched, and she sneezed- automatically waking herself up.
Dria slowly sat up, trying to open her eyes. Then, she attempted to speak. She found that she couldn't, she was choking, and so she had to sit there coughing and crying before she could actually form any sort of words. "C-Charlie? Someone, are you there? I can't seeeee!" And then, of course, there was the issue that she couldn't see. Otherwise, she was perfectly fine, and had managed to choke out all of the water in her lungs.
Back on the other shore, Nick was just barely looking up after hearing Efi shout his name. His hand was still absentmindedly clutching the handle of his nail filer. He hadn't quite finished fixing his poor index finger, but he supposed it could wait for a few minutes. He moved, starting to go towards the dock with a frown forming on his face.
"Efi?" Nick called out to his friend, but she didn't respond. He peered down at the water, looking in awe at the calming water. He saw ripples forming at the top, which meant she could have only just jumped in. Yet, a few minutes later, he saw bubbles. Which meant two things: one, there was a f---ing monster just ready to get into his pants, or two, Efi was sinking and those bubbles were the last bit of air she had. He gulped, his eyes watering a bit. Was she.. Dead? It occurred to him that none of the others were there, either. And he could have sworn he heard splashing noises as his friends had dived in. Nick backed up- there was no way in hell he was going to deal with this s---- but he found himself tripping and falling into the dark, cool waters.
Damien's smile turned into a scowl when the tall guy spoke. He recognized him as one of the Queen's guards. His name was something that started with a K, he thought. Or was it a C? The elf didn't feel too bothered to know. Besides that point, he didn't like the shapeshifter's proposal. Put the strongest in the center?
"Actually, my Queen, if I may.." Damien pulled his feet down and leaned against the table, a serious look on his face. "To put the strongest of us in the center would be putting both the army and civilians at risk. All we would be doing would be protecting the castle, which of course only contains a few of your people. Shouldn't both strong and not as strong warriors be in the front, taking down as many of the demons down as possible before they can get to the center?"
